I'm more upset just thinking about the fact that Goodell gets to bully another person despite the fact that he should have been fired last year. Even worse, he technically bullied his boss. That's ridiculous.

With that said, I've read some people want to get rid of their 3 Games to Glory IV. I haven't seen it and would love to see at least one time before making a decision on my future fandom. Anyone looking to get rid of it, I'll PayPal you like 10 bucks if you'll send it to me so I can watch it. If anyone is interested PM me.

In reality I think Kraft's lawyers told him he wouldn't get his issue into a court room. So he worked a deal with Goodell for a lessor penalty. Goodell can say after reviewing the penalty it was too much.

Kraft knew that outside of NE people hate the organization and doing what he did today would turn NE against him and the NFL. There has to be more to this than that's all folks.

Robert Kraft employs a number of people who have been accused of cheating, and have sworn to him that they did not.
His response was to decide not to fight for their good name and innocence.
That is despicable

Even the die hard Bruins fans were figuring it out by the end. You owe no loyalty to an owner who doesn't gives a **** about you.
Yeah, it came to a head but yes, it was a gradual build up of everyone just getting tired of it. Then the league got a cap so it sort of got the owners off the hook.

This is a complete sucker punch although there were hints of this in 07.

I ask all the Pats fans to stop going to the game, stop buying the jerseys, don't spend another penny on Patriots as a protest of Kraft's statement. Please spread this message as much as you can.
Just think, any legal action by the NFLPA basically Brady vs Kraft. Unreal!!

What is even more pathetic is that I'm too much of an addict to give up being a fan of the New England Patriots.

So Bob takes it up the wazoo for nothing, and us diehards end up doing the same.

Is there anything that Tom can gain to make this worth it? If Brady is completely exonerated, it will be viewed as a result of the backroom deal between the czar and the cheaters rather than any sort of vindication.

Darkest day in franchise history.

This puts me in a very bad place. I love the patriots, but I don't know if I can continue watching with his owner In place. I just have too much principal to continue watching something that just isn't real anymore. it's just all about the money. That is the only reason he owns this team. for the money, the money, the money. he could care less about the fans. It's my favorite pastime. It's the only sport I follow. It consumes me during the season. this is going to be very tough. But I think I just have to stop. I'll stick around here for a while, but I really think I am done. My only saving grace, is that Brady keeps on fighting and wins. going to miss this sport and my fellow Pats fans when it finally comes to the end for me

Now he makes Brady look like a jackass for appealing. Never let Kraft into the Pats hall of fame. Never forget this day.

What some will miss is this:

Even if the Patriots/Brady were guilty, this move still sells out Brady's appeal in front of Goodell. If Kraft was going to fold, he could at least have waited.

What in the world are you talking about?
Kraft just went on national TV and ENDORSED the penalties Goodell levied on his team for his employees cheating.
Kraft is simply a very stupid, weak and spineless man.

LOL Come on now. I think some of us are a TAD angry.

I just got off the phone with one of the season ticket account managers. He said they have received a few calls from upset fans such as myself. He was very courteous -- listened to me, took notes, said it will be passed along and that I "might" hear back from a team representative.

What a helpless feeling this is, like figuratively being knifed in the back.

one thread of sanity left to this

Belief in league circles is NFLPA has found the perfect player & case to go big-game hunting and change commissioner discipline forever.

it is possible for Kraft to just be getting out of the way, but I don't see a member of the NFL 32 going into kahoots this way

The only post on this Forum I have ever received negative ratings ( five ) was when I posted the following in a thread started by Patfanken on Jan 15th, 2015 :
"BOB is interested only in protecting his billion dollar enterprise. That's why he will not protest, will not speak up - will not do anything that will rock the cash cow that is NFL."

Bawb, you are who I thought you were!!

This is the darkest day I think I have experienced as a fan of this team.

The worst part about it is this will widely be interpreted as an admission of guilt--pleading no contest, essentially.

If that was the plan, why even bother with the Wells Context website? Why intimate to your fans that you plan on fighting, just to turn around and knuckle under?
