Angry right now doesn't describe it. Honestly bending over and taking it for the so called good of everybody else is bull. So disappointed in this turn of events. Money gonna protect money we has fans now get branded cheaters again because let's face it, if we were innocent we would fight. This quitting like Kraft did basically tells me we are guilty. Either that or Kraft is too much of a coward too defend this teams honor to those who will bring us down, and they will come again at us since this is twice we bent over and took it.

I agree, bob gutless kraft has taken them for granted, along with us.

I am insulted that he balanced Patriot fans against fans that think we cheated as if they were 2 groups he needed to assuage, and then that he really thought Patriots fans would trust his judgment.

Kraft basically accepted a lifelong asterisk. When the Patriots are discussed with the dynasties of Dallas, Pittsburgh, S.F. etc. there will forever be that BUT, they cheated asterisk beside their name.

That's what you accepted today Kraft.

If you are innocent, you fight till you prove it. By accepting the penalties, you accept the label of guilt

No, no, no. You see Brady and the fans have a selfish agenda. They selfishly think they shouldn't be punished for things they didn't do. They selfishly think their accomplishments shouldn't be dismissed for cheating they didn't do. They selfishly think they deserve the honors and accolades they earned.

Bobby just had to set the players and fans straight. We don't deserve to pursue such selfish interests.

Anyone else notice Brady's name never came up?
Kraft stabbed him in the back. Now when Brady wins his appeal NFL observers will say it was a fix set up by Kraft.
Bob Kraft should not be allowed to set foot on the Gillette stadium turf without being deafeningly booed.
Bob Kraft is a traitor

Tom Brady should demand a trade and Bill Belichick should resign today.

I would not thing that any reduction with Brady's suspension had anything to do with Kraft's position. These were two separate issues and penalties. I expect we will see the league reduce the team penalties

HTF did Kraft become a billionaire business man? I mean, how can he allow his product to be crapped on by his other partners, allow his most valuable assets to be plundered and then appear weak and feeble in front of his customers? Unless there is some grand plan to oust Goodell and with a coalition of other owners work to return the NFL to some semblance of profit with fairness I am speechless.

So.....I thought there was supposed to be a "deal". Usually in a deal both sides give and take...Kraft threw the team and fans under the freaking "NFL" bus...what did we get in this deal?!! What just happened?!!

I've seen a lot of hysterical fans post silly things after a range of incidents but this is it for me as a Pats fan for the foreseeable future.

This was so depressingly predictable (I made a thread about it) that I honestly question the IQ of anyone who thinks this is some "change of heart." This is the guy who left his dying wife so that he could go battle the unions for every last penny. The guy who went on a Roger Goodell PR tour after he tried to sweep the Ray Rice incident under the rug. The guy who didn't fight spygate or say anything during bountygate. The guy who goes into every interview with a litany of ******** business speak and hollow platitudes designed to obfuscate and misdirect at every turn. Every single criticism anyone has of "the NFL" and Goodell's regime can look to Kraft, the guy who is the biggest player in all of it, from the concussion lawsuit to the disciplinary fiascos. He is a businessman and I am a customer and I'm gonna go ahead and not support his product anymore.

Kraft's actions have led directly to his team and his customers being punished and there isn't an ounce of self-reflection to be found. To me, that is a CEO with zero ethics who deserves no support. He's commoditized your fandom and appropriated your loyalty to the point where you will actually lash out at those who criticize THE BRAND. People can wax poetic about what it means to be a fan and support your team but the point is you are making this guy rich and he's laughing in your face.

I won't let the door hit me.

Word..............I think the fix was in all along

as I said, th league blessing for the attached casino is forthcoming

I am embarrassed, disappointed, but most of all angry. To think his one trait is folding to pressure. I should have know from his last 'el foldo' routine for Spygate.

I guess Bob is also a description of Krafts head in Goodells lap. Take it all coward, take it all!

The hilarious thing is that people actually think that Kraft cares what they think about this situation.
Let me tell you what he thinks (and he will be right). Ultimately, you will still go to the games. Ultimately, you will still pay for parking. Ultimately, you will buy Patriots gear and beer at the stadium because he knows that your life would be empty without the Patriots.

All these ridiculous comments I see about "not watching the Patriots after Brady is gone" or "just go to the games but not buy beer".......he is counting on you having no life.

I can almost guarantee you that come opening day that stadium will be full.....and that is sad.

Bob Kraft only cares about your money so don't give it to him. Don't go to the game....I won't be going. Don't pay to park your car.....I won't. Don't buy gear, DVDs, or shop in Patriots place.....I won't.

Have some real balls and sacrifice......if you give him even one dollar, you're telling him (to some degree) that you support his team.

To those who have the guts to not give Bob Kraft one dollar, I salute you. To those who will continue to give him your money......you're a fool.

I would not thing that any reduction with Brady's suspension had anything to do with Kraft's position. These were two separate issues and penalties. I expect we will see the league reduce the team penalties

All those ESPN and NFLN idiots will say that Bradys win on appeal was brokered by Kraft, and claim that Kraft took one to save his cheating QB.
This all stinks to hell.

I think a lot of fans are jumping to assumptions. We don't know what Kraft was facing. We don't know what his lawyers were telling him, and we don't know what the backchannel conversations were telling him.

Perhaps he made a deal to get Goodell to recuse himself from the Brady hearing. Perhaps a lawsuit was viewed as likely to be dismissed (thus furthering the haters ammo).

I do think its unlikely that he would abandon Brady and his team's image or his legacy without really being in a no win situation and I do trust that he made the best decision that was available to him.

People that think he was doing this for money... Lol, I guarentee he's lost more money out of the predictable fan reaction than anything the league has ever done to him.

Billionares don't give a **** about nickel and dime affairs, and they definitely care much more about their legacies than anything else.

At the very least, Kraft should have appealed.
We all know it wouldn't have changed a thing, but he would have used the only option (beside taking this to court) available to the team to somewhat fight a little.

Without an appeal, fans from every other teams will assume that the Pats were guilty...or else they would have appealed.

The Super Bowl was sweet, but they enjoyment of getting to the game was taken away from Pats fans because of the 2 pounds under 12.5 false allegations, and now the joy of the win is taken away less than 4 months after the game.

We'll have to see how Goodell deals with Brady. Unless the backroom deal is that Brady is 100% exonerated (because of Kraft taking IT) and no games. That's the only way this can make sense. and by exonerated, I mean that the NFL admits they have nothing on him and apologize (well for them apologizing, not that it will sound like it...if you're married to one of them types, you'll understand what I mean).

Right?

unfortunately, you're correct.

thanks to our spineless jellyfish owner

I ask all the Pats fans to stop going to the game, stop buying the jerseys, don't spend another penny on Patriots as a protest of Kraft's statement. Please spread this message as much as you can.

Greg A. Bedard @GregABedard

Was told by a high-ranking NFL source that Kraft's decision to stand down does not include a deal on Brady. Surprising to me.
Brady has the league by the balls. He doesn't need Kraft to cut any deal. My guess is Brady will now do the heavy lifting for Kraft and eventually get all penalties overturned

His product is the NFL, not the Patriots. "The Patriots" is the label given to his 1/32 share.

I can't even work anymore, I wanna puke.
