Suggesting that a good compromise would be no reduction in the penalties, but the league apologizing for sending the wrong psi measurements in a letter and not correcting them.

So, Kraft is livid that his team, fully innocent was given the largest penalty ever, and the GOATs reputation was trashed unacceptably, and he will be fine with all of that if the NFL admits they were wrong to lie in a letter?

How did Reiss get this stuff?
Let's see if part II happens.
Still think that Kraft should have fought this for his fans. Someone or someones got to him at the meeting and talked him into this.
Haters across the nation laughing at the franchise. Very disappointing to be a Pats fan today.

He doesn't lose his business if he sues. In fact he probably increases it's value by endearing himself to his teams fans.

I indicated in a post just before Kraft spoke that there was ZERO chance of Kraft suing. Kraft is an owner in a voluntary association of 32 owners.

A team suing is a clear and direct violation of the NFL bylaws. The owners would have no problem punching Kraft for that violation.

For the team, it is business as usual. In the last couple of weeks, several players have been cut. Several others have been signed. I'm sure that the team is exploring more transactions. Perhaps a trade will be discussed in the next few days, or not.

For the fans, it is not over. They will vent for months or even years.

Where indeed?

Reiss thought that Kraft would accept the league punishment.

Folks here said he wouldn't.

Perhaps, Reiss has a better understanding of the league than fans do.

Looks like Reiss knew what was in Big Kraft's mind after all...

Reiss gets stuff DIRECT from Kraft, he's the fifth kraft son. He doesn't know anything that the Kraft's don't want him to.

Reiss knew all along and he was called out for it. Either he knew how the league works (more than likely given ESPN's backing of Goodell see: Bill Simmons) or he knew how Kraft works. Either way, at the end of the day we are screwed.

again, kraft wants a good relatinship with the other owners. he cares more about his standing with them than he does about the fans or TB

Robert Kraft stabbed the fans of this team, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick in the back to protect Goodell, Wells and the other owners.
I hope he never talks again about being a fan of this team.
He screwed the team.

I can't believe this! Totally disappointed with Kraft turning into an NFL doormat. No balls to deflate on him. Can only hope Brady and union take it to court. Longtime fan who's tired of getting shafted by Goodell and his Minions. Think I'll switch to hard liquor tonight cuz I'm gonna be pissed off for a long, long time over this
