Unless this was part of a deal to get his suspension overturned, I hope that Brady asks to be released from his contract. BB too.

I know that's what you meant. My point is that Brady can appeal to an outside arbiter if he doesn't get results from Goodell. If he's innocent--and it's fair to say we believe there was no wrongdoing, and biases in the report can be hammered--then Brady and his legal team shouldn't have a problem getting the suspension overturned without any help from Kraft or compromise from Goodell.

Kraft's bit in this as owner is very different from Brady's. Kraft was in a tough spot as owner and 'one of 32', but at some point you have to stand up for your team, your players, and say it's gone too far. Kraft did just the opposite here, I don't care if there's a handshake deal on Brady's piece, Kraft should never have accepted the teams punishments if he believes they're innocent.

And now that he just accepted this rape I know one thing for sure.

Next year when we get caught with powerade inside jugs labeled gatorade we will be docked 3 first round picks, 2 million fine and what ever other b.s. they can do

And, back at NFL HQ, it's tee shirts, hats and champagne showers all around as Kensil, Grigson, Vincent, Wells, etc celebrate their victory.

And dont by anything with a patriots logo on it again, anywhere. kraft gets a cut. Not sure if i'll even bother watching come september, but one thing i f'in guarantee is kraft/nfl will never get another penny out of me, even if it's just the $2 or whatever he gets for a jersey at walmart.

What it also does is effectively create an appearance of impropriety of the arbitrator, Goodell, as he and Kraft apparently had extensive discussions..

Brady's case relies on the evidence, and can be separate and distinct from the Team situation..

Let's face it fellas, he's been lying all along, by his actions we have to accept that we cheated. Doesn't matter what the NFLPA lawyers say in Brady's appeal, Kraft just labeled our team as cheaters. As is said after the punishment was handed down, I am done with football, I can not support a corrupt/biased league. Now after this, how can I support a corrupt owner who backs down and takes the corruption/bias right up the ass. This just confirmed my end with the Patriots and the NFL. I NEVER thought Kraft would stab the team's followers in the back. But I will never follow the NFL again, and even if I did, how can I ever follow a team owned by an owner who I consider the scum of the earth. Go **** yourself Kraft, you are the biggest turncoat of all time, your wife would be ashamed of you, you don't deserve to own a team, especially the team I love.

Don't kids yourself........... This feels really crappy. It's like we all care about the Patriots more then the guy who makes millions of of us who actually owns the team. Feeling very betrayed.

He will win the appeal because unlike his owner Brady never quits

People who are acting upset need to realize that Kraft, as well as all the other 31 owners, are in bed with Goodell. They are all on the same team.

Kraft fights this to the end or sues the leauge he turns into Al Davis and gets shunned by the 31 others owners. Kraft is 73 and I don't think this is the legacy or stigmata he wants to leave for and Jonathan.

Imagining Kraft hug Goodell knowing Kraft is throwing Brady under the bus is so heart breaking. Brady doesn't deserve this. Way to fight for him Kraft.

That's exactly right. Unless there was a written deal that Brady's suspension would be lifted in exchange for this act of cowardice, the argument is now even stronger that he was guilty.

I can't imagine how BB and TB must feel. winning the Superbowl is a footnote
