He sold his team, and his team's fanbase, out for money.

My guess is this was the agreed upon course. Kraft agrees to accept the league's punishments and the league agrees to reduce the penalties but they do it in a way that doesn't look like Kraft's threats played into it.

I didn't say they were linked. I said I hope that it was part of a handshake deal between Kraft and, you know, the guy hearing Brady's appeal.

Exactly.

All that work for nothing, now we re cheaters. We may as well cheat our asses off now that the label is stuck.

I'm done fighting for this team if the owner isn't willing to do the same. This feels worse than if ESPN released a video of Brady deflating balls before the game.

i imagine he will never have fans cheer for him again. but all he seems to care about is the other owners liking him.

IMHO there isn't anything whatsoever going on with Brady. Brady and the Patriots are two separate issues that are only joined by the same BS league decision.
Kraft may have rolled over for the sake of easiness and/or he felt he had too little recourse. Whatever, it's sickening to me. If the league comes out and significantly reduces the fine I'll only be less sickened.

Brady, on the other hand, should be, and I believe is, preparing for war. Kraft giving up has zero effect on Brady. He isn't so limited in his options. I expect the Brady arbitration to happen, I expect Brady's side to be put fully out for there in a concise way, I then expect a lawsuit to be filed. Lastly, I expect the Brady side to be the avenue where justice still may prevail.

Kraft is Art Modell.
