Kraft to speak at 1PM

:( looks like Jonathan hacked daddys computer for the weekend, now Bob's back ready to bend over.

I don't think Brady's suspension is even in the conversation here. I think as a member of the NFLPA, his appeal is a separate issue. The fine and draft picks are an internal matter between Kraft and the league. Kraft compromising on those does not mean Brady suddenly can't appeal (or more).
Agree Brady's suspension is a totally different issue than the team punishments.

Kraft to concede to the punishment.

I hope he can handle the wrath of the fans coming his way if he does that.

I hope he can't and retires to a small island with his teenage gf.

Can we all agree that this is the biggest over-reaction, the biggest sh*tshow from the media, in history given what either did or didn't happen to some footballs? Like, this is at least the ninth or tenth time that everyone's been breathlessly anticipating something surrounding these maybe-possibly-slightly-deflated footballs. Belichick presser, Brady presser, Belichick presser 2, Kraft presser, Wells report, penalty announcement, Pats response, Brady/Gray interview, Wells conference call, now Kraft presser 2.

This...is...RIDICULOUS.

Man, I ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!!! It's like a crafty pitcher throwing a goddam spitball. I will never recover from the media response to this. NEVER

patriots.com will broadcast the conference

I don't know this means.
Did Kraft cave? Maybe.
Did Kraft tell him that he was taking him to court? Maybe.
Something in between? Maybe.

What I do know is that I've been around the business world for a long time and I've seen CEO's either fired or get a huge bonus after a civil, even friendly, lunch with the Board Chairman. In other words, sitting on a couch and talking and even "hugging" at the end mean nothing.

All I know is that if he does anything that I can reasonably put in the category of "caving," the Patriots Franchise will have lost a long-time fan.

No news has leaked about what hea gonna say so that's just not good for us.

Prove me wrong robert

The follow up question then will become whether or not Patriots fans actually have the self respect to tell Kraft and the league to piss off, if the accepted punishment remains too high.

I don't know the answer to question one. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to question two, though, and "fandom" will likely be at least as disappointing as Kraft.

So a ****ty ruling means pats fans have to give up the sport?

and another note, does the NFL have to leak everything?

I'm hoping deep down inside this will be really good for the Pats.

Don't see Kraft announcing any reduction in punishment. That comes from the league. Unless the league is there it won't be much. Think what he will say is they are working towards a compromise and the Patriots will not formerly appeal or seek legal recourse against the league.
This won't have anything to do with Tom Brady sueing the league.

"After witnessing Tom swimming, I have realized he is, in fact, a witch."

So a ****ty ruling means pats fans have to give up the sport?
No. A craven response to an unfair ruling means that some pats fans might give up their support of the team (tried to get that in before 1:00).

I REALLY don't feel good about this. I'm pretty sick to my stomach about it. I really wish he didn't even go to this meeting at all. I think he caves, which will break my heart.

Alright so what's the scuttlebutt?

The room isn't very crowded.
