Hearing he was spotted hugging Goddell makes my stomach turn and hate seeing him fold in any way!! Goddell let his team be run into the ground leaving false information out there! Not to mention what he let happen to Brady's reputation with all the false leaks! I have a bad feeling.... I hope I'm wrong!

Forget Kraft. If Brady folds, then he's admitting that he's guilty.

Is this the NFL or the WWE? man, if you are innocent go and prove they are wrong, im thinking this was scripted since january hahaha and we are talking about the nfl in May, they won.

Doesn't matter anymore ever since the report came out the Pats reputation has been tarnished only thing I care now is that Brady overturns his suspension and we kick ass in the 2015 season

Get the 1st back and no Brady suspension.

I could care less about a fine, not my money, and 4th, which will probably get traded anyway for the next Issac Sopoaga....

I'm going to show my ignorance here: Is he making a joke, or does the color of the flag actually signify something in regards to the nature of a press conference? Wouldn't be the first weird quirk I'd learn about NFL procedure...

Did Kraft have anyone check for daggers embedded in his back?

I mean, he must not feel anything i he is willing to compromise. Then again, we still have TB vs the NFL (hopefully to expose the Wells report for what it really was).

We know Kraft was ready to cave before he saw the punishment and Brady bashing. The question to be asked now is a simple one: At what level of 'punishment' will Kraft cave this time, regardless of the reason?

The follow up question then will become whether or not Patriots fans actually have the self respect to tell Kraft and the league to piss off, if the accepted punishment remains too high.


I don't know the answer to question one. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to question two, though, and "fandom" will likely be at least as disappointing as Kraft.

The problem is if Kraft folds- Brady has to or Brady has to split with ownership. Now, I would split with ownership were it me. But he's neighbors with Kraft and we really, truly don't know how much this even affects Brady in his personal life. He might care about his legacy, but it also might not really interfere with his day-to-day any more than any other media nonsense he deals with.

I won't be able to blame Brady for folding or infer anything about it if he loses the backing of ownership.

I hope neither happens.

I don't think Brady's suspension is even in the conversation here. I think as a member of the NFLPA, his appeal is a separate issue. The fine and draft picks are an internal matter between Kraft and the league. Kraft compromising on those does not mean Brady suddenly can't appeal (or more).

The hug may be the "agree to disagree" type. Kraft announces he will sue the NFL.

Can we all agree that this is the biggest over-reaction, the biggest sh*tshow from the media, in history given what either did or didn't happen to some footballs? Like, this is at least the ninth or tenth time that everyone's been breathlessly anticipating something surrounding these maybe-possibly-slightly-deflated footballs. Belichick presser, Brady presser, Belichick presser 2, Kraft presser, Wells report, penalty announcement, Pats response, Brady/Gray interview, Wells conference call, now Kraft presser 2.

This...is...RIDICULOUS.
