Simple question. Will you still respect Bob Kraft if he compromises with Goodell?

Team penalties and Brady's penalties are separate entities. I am fine with a Patriots compromise, as long as it returns the first round pick.

Simple answer for me. I will lose all respect for Kraft if he compromises with Goodell.

It won't just be lost respect if it is anything less than the reversal of the suspension and return of our first rounder.

It seems he has already compromised for there to be hugs and getting buddy buddy again.

I'm banking on TB12's suspension being reversed as the compromise. It just better not be a reduction of 2 or 3 games.

As long as the compromise is Brady's suspension being lifted and both picks being given back to the Pats after a formal apology by the league, then yeah. Anything less than that and no.

Yeah has to be this...and one step further. Fitted caps for every season ticket holder.

I lose all respect for myself every time I wake up with a hot chick and don't know her name

Can anyone say that Kraft handled cameragate well? If he handled it better then we might not be getting punished for it again now. To me Kraft will never win back the rest of the league or the league office, he can win back the fanbase though and fight for the franchise.

Only compromise I will accept:

Suspension lifted
Draft Picks given back

Kraft can pay the $1 million fine. If he wants to pay the punishment then that's on him.

With the information we have at this point, no.

I think Kraft's in a tough spot to be honest. If I've read things right, he has no recourse similar to what Brady has. Brady will continue down the appeal track, hopefully reject whatever Goodell rules and bring it to an independent arbiter. Kraft doesn't have that option, as a league owner. His only options: compromise with Goodell, or sue the league.

As much as I'd like to see him sue, it's unprecedented (in the non-Al Davis world) and he'd be making a lot of enemies around the league. I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing, but it's bad for his business and would be a massive circus show, I don't think the nuclear option is realistically the best way for him to go (even if we'd all love to see it).

No, I'm fine if Kraft negotiates and gets penalties reduced (the 1st rounder HAS to be returned though, that's a dealbreaker for me), and the Brady/NFLPA proceedings are the venue to get names cleared and maybe even bring up some dirt against Goodell/Kensil/Vincent/Wells.

I want to get back to that AFC Championship game... and change the playcall from that pick to a run.

Giddyup!!!

why on earth would anyone settle for anything other than being made whole? i want everything back. i can live with a minor fine for mcnally taking the footballs to the field when he wasn't supposed to, but that's it.

If Kraft accepts penalties he completely undermines Brady.

I can, too. But he was given permission by the ref to remove them from the locker room area, I believe. And then brought them to the field after halftime unaccompanied, again.

I don't mind the fine for not cooperating. No suspension and no draft picks lost. Also a formal apology and statement to correct all false leaks. Sack mortensen or the leak. Fine the colts for gauging the football.

The Patriots need to be cleared of all charges imposed by Captain Kangaroo, and get that apology Kraft asked for. I have been defending this team forever (as have many other Pats fans), but particularly since ****head was appointed Commissioner. He has given us a felony conviction for moving violations in the past, and now he wants to throw the key away because they had a sting gone awry. Enough, already...if you ain't going to defend your name, why should anyone?
