Why should I care about the Patriots if the owner doesn't?

I am really really sour and done with Kraft. The amount of disappointment and dismay I will have with Kraft if he is indeed even hugging Goodell will be tenfold the amount of disgust I've reserved for Goodell.

Sell the team Bob, I simply cannot support you if this is your attitude.

I fly in only twice a year for Patriots games, and I can't say I'm going to spend money again soon, but if I did do it, I would lustily boo Kraft--if indeed the tweets above are true at all.

yeah he's not selling. this franchise makes him millions of dollars.

Time to start rooting for players, and stop rooting for teams Where can I get a JE11 Non patriots jersey?

He can just rename the team the New England Cheaters, because thats what everyone will call them, and then he can run around with his letter saying the NFL admitted they put a wrong number in a letter and didn't fix it. Wow, I'm so glad he decided to get tough.

are you going to jump? again?

how long did you go on about Kraft not speaking on behalf of Brady?

if you jump this time ..... just do so with a personal flotation device so it is easier to bring you back

Let's wait and see what happened first. Maybe Goody budged...

Goodell was patting Kraft down to check for memory card with evidence of dirt against 31 teams.

Kraft was patting Goodell for his kidnapped Viagra.

I have gone back and forth on Kraft.
First he was wrong to issue the statement that they would accept any penalty and I villified him for that.
He has essentially admitted that was moronic to do.
Then he came out fighting and I commended him.

Now I am speaking to Reiss' bonehead thought about Kraft, theorizing if it were true, but really what I am saying is that it can't be true, and Reiss has left the reservation.

I'm waiting before I erupt with anger. Goodell is rotten to the core and any compromise will be equivalent to a deal with the devil.

We are going to need some significant concessions from the NFL to prevent us from going ballistic on Kraft. That begins with overturning Brady's suspension. Then there is the matter of draft picks and apologies.

Chill buddy....In the glory days of the mob, they used to kiss you before they killed you!

This is one of the reasons I love this board. Sure, the overreaction is way over the top at times but the passion for this team is unbelievable.

I have been wrong repeatedly throughout this so I will wait and see how this plays out. If Reiss is right I will support the players but will never support the Kraft's again.

Gotta be honest here, I have completely different priorities. I don't really care if Steve the Chiefs Fan thinks the Patriots are cheaters. I just want our draft picks back.

So, if it's true that the Patriots are trying to come to some resolution that avoids appeals and ugly court situations, Kraft has to go?

I'm sorry, but I can't hop on this bandwagon, and I'm probably the second most anti-Goodell poster here (Joker is clearly #1).

Precisely what I'd said in another thread IF Kraft assumes the "Thank you sir! I'll have another!" position of subservience.

If so, time for Jonathan to take over full control.

Guys, get a grip. All these "one big happy family" stories are such obviously more of the same leaks from Goodell and his flackies. Haven't you seen enough of that to figure out their game?

BTW, I do suspect that this will all end with the Robert and Jonathan Kraft selling the Patriots. However, if there is anal sex involved, Goodell will be "the bottom".

I would not be surprised if Kraft announces this week than he has resigned from all NFL ownership committees and hired Goldman Sachs or some other investment bank to prepare reports on the market value of the team as a preliminary step towards a sale.
