Waiting for Patriots to change their Facebook pic to Goodell's face.Kraft cannot accept a penalty for Brady.
Hello, Brady AND THE NFLPA are appealing and fighting the league, which includes Kraft.
Kraft trying to get in the way of that only puts him on Goodells side AGAINST Brady.
I agree with Brady not turning over his phone to the leaking sieve that is the NFL. I'd have no problem with Brady turning over his phone to a US Federal judge. I believe he is innocent. I believe the NFL already has his texts and emails from Beavis and Butthead's phones. If I'm wrong and there is incriminating evidence on Brady's phone, then so be it. I'd be very disappointed and upset, but the truth would have won out.One thing I would add, is that you go to court for a determination on what can be narrow issues. Everyone (not you, the media) talking about him having to turn over his phone might be wrong. If the Patriots/Brady sue over whether or not the Wells Report proves its conclusion (or some related issue, such as was the punishment arbitrary/baseless), that does not require an entire new investigation of whether Patriots/Brady did something, the only concern will be the report. So Brady's phone record would not be relevant/admissible on that issue, because relevance is determined by the issue before the court.
Nobody wants to find out what happens if this goes to the courts, it is bad for the NFL and bad for the Patriots. The only reason it would go to court is if the penalties are as they currently stand.
See my edit above. A good leader would surround himself with people who would not be afraid to voice a wide range of opinion and perspective. That would be great, but who are the more level heads in the NFL office? It appears more like a strong clueless man (Goodell) surrounded by moron sycophants (Kensil, Vincent, Giardi) from the outside.
I think people are overestimating the value of the hug....billionaires don't hide in corners throwing hissy fits
you guys are all jumping the gun....just like you did while kraft was saying nothing
In that vein, keep your friends close, your enemies closer...
This is what sense looks like. All this crap over a hug huh? What did you think meetings between billionaires looked like? The last scene in The Rock where all the soldiers have their guns at each other's heads waiting to see who blinks? These people made their money in back rooms with handshakes and words made of honeydew melon. You can't stab someone in the back if they never trust you enough to turn it. They don't live in the same world we live in. The rules are different, the protocol is different.
remember this?
Knowing that there is no real recourse available, fighting the league and extending this debate would prove to be futile. We understand and greatly respect the responsibility of being one of 32 in this league and, on that basis, we will accept the findings of the report and take the appropriate actions based on those findings as well as any discipline levied by the league.”
Kraft is going to take this one bending over... no Vaseline
Self made billionaires tend not to. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the majority of those raised by billionaires that inherited billions. Far too many owners fall into the latter category.billionaires don't hide in corners throwing hissy fits
