Given our latest addition to the DL and Easley in his 2nd year ect. I think our front will be improved. But what i want to see is Jones take that next step to become elite. He has all the tools...he just needs to go out there and do it and if he is going to break through..this has to be the year IMO. I would have thought he would have shown a bit more last year but given his hip injury i know it derailed this.

Well it's a contract year so yea he probably will shine just in time to demand 10+ million a year

I think we exercised the 5th year option for both Jones and Hightower. Similar to this year with Solder.

So, we have Solder through 2015 and Hightower and Jones through 2016. All three would be great to sign to extensions if the team and their agents can agree.

I thought that Jones shined bright enough last year, but I also think he can shine brighter. He shows flashes of greatness.

If he can stay healthy...

If all goes well, people will still think Jones is overrated, because we'll have 4 or 5 guys with 8+ sacks instead of 1 or 2 with 10+. That's the ideal pass rush to me: can't focus on blocking one guy.

If we have four or five guys with 8+ sacks, my wife will be exhausted.

...because I will be physically aroused for months. LOL
