Per Shefter: "NFL" requested McNally & Jastremski be suspended

A ha. Now we know they were guilty. Why else would the Patriots tell us the NFL asked them to suspend them if they weren't?

So, we now know this much:

11 of 12 Patriot balls were under inflated, 1 by over two lbs.

The ball that was 2 lbs lighter was the one MacNally accidentally deflated 12 times in the men's room.

MacNally deliberately tried to get an alternate ref to put s stolen ball in the game so it would be worth more when he sold it on the game ball black market.

A properly inflated ball is so heavy it caused Anderson Coopers body to tilt downward when held in the opposite hand from the one MacNally deflated twelve time's.

Walt Anderson has a photographic memory that is infallible except for properly remembering which gauge he used, fortunately for him Ted Wells remembered it was the one without the logo because it had to be that one. Good thing Ted remembered that for him.

Bill Belichick knew about all of this all along because he knows everything.

Tom Brady is a cheater and would never have been successful had they not been lightening the balls for him all along. No way the guy in that combine picture could have thrown a 12.5 pound ball more than 6 feet.

Jim MacNally is Brady's personal ball boy and travels to all away games and has deflated balls in every stadium in America, which explains why Brady is as good on n the road as he is at home.

Tom Brady paid MacNally and Jastremski off with Uggs.

No one in the league office has anything against the Patriots, in fact those running the league are among the Patriots closest allies, they all either worked out player for their friends in the AFC East, the Jets and Dolphins.

Jim Jastremski and Jim MacNally need remedial texting classes before returning to their ball tampering duties, that's why they were suspended, improper use of acronyms and tomfoolery terms.

Robert Kraft is overly sensitive and can't take a good spanling from the league anymore.

All the leaks came from the Patriots, they felt terrible about beating the Colts by that much and wanted everyone to know that it would have been much closer if the game balls were two pounds heavier. In fact Legarette Blunt would have tired out by the end of the first quarter had he had to carry 12.5 pound balls that much.

Tom Brady is a cheater. No way a sixth round quarterback outplayed Ryan Leaf unless he cheats. Christ, Leaf was the second overall pick, no way Brady is better.

Roger Goodell is supremely overqualified for his job, his dad was à Senator.

Mike Kennel is a huge Belichick fan, in fact he wanted him to coach the Jets.

ATTENTION ALL PATS FANS, I swear this is never going to end, the media is so twisted and unwilling to see things from another point of view....this information about the nfl asking the Pats to suspend them....well just heard on Mike & Mike them actually say "this is like them admitting guilt" why would they agree with the nfl to suspend if they think their innocent. Literally makes me sick to my stomach, thought I'd tune in to hear a few positives, we were wrong about that etc....but nope!

BTW just don't tune in to media sources when Borges, Felger, Massorati, Jones, S Smith BSPN and the rest of the Patriot trolls hold forth.

Punish them with a ratings hit. Will be more effective with the locals than the national media, but they get paid off the rating we provide. F'em no ratings no $$$.

Boycott the trolls.

Add Gerry Callahan and John Dennis to that the list. The worst Sports hosts on air

So, you tuned into ESPN to hear them admit they were wrong and expected some "positive" about the Patriots?

As a great man one said...... Child please........."

That would involve boycotting Thornton, Holley, and even Minnihan who have been fair/favorable to the Pats.

Minnihan who went to the trouble of reading Wells and the context rebuttal has moved his position by miles from where he started, good for him, as opposed to scum like Felger.

Very true, my bad!!! LOL

It is crazy how far the media goes to show the Patriots are acting guilty. I heard Adam Jones sit there and trying to parse Bob Kraft's words to Peter King and how he never said he is innocent and that he always said the League didn't find proof. Chris Russo is going off on Brady right now on WEEI because if he was innocent, he would he screaming it at the top of the lungs.

And if he shouted at the top of his lungs, they'd simply say he's pulling a Rafael Palmeiro. Anyone who thinks Brady and the Patriots can do anything that will be viewed as a win in the court of public opinion isn't thinking it through.

This is even better than if it had been a S.O.P. decision.

The comedy train keeps chugging on!

Exactly, he went live in front of millions of people and protested his innocence, no one but us believed him, he spent hours in front of Wells and this minions protesting his innocence, they didn't believe him, there's nothing he can do now but go through legal avenues to try and clear his name.

Mike Holley is the best host they have on WEEI. Thorton is good. They stick to sports topics. Dale Arnold is also good. I actually prefer him over Jerry Thorton.

This was a Patriot counter leak to yesterday's 'Kensil's leak'.
No. Per Schefter, this was a leak from an NFL source. Interesting they would leak something favorable to the Pats.

At first I thought the Pats were finally fighting fire with fire, playing a bit dirty, and released this leak themselves but attributed it to the NFL. This would kill two birds with one stone by showing why NE fired these jokers, that -yes- they comply with the NFL, that the NFL is a ship of leaks, and most of all that they are innocent as they claim, and another straw man is dead.

Although the recent news of a pow-wow with Goodell and Kraft is a bit disturbing. I still don't buy the idea that the NFL leaked this to finally do NE a favor.
