Field goal block from the Jets game. Sweet revenge from the Jets whining from the year before for some stupid rule.

Butler interception. I've been blessed to witness many great Boston sports moments, but nothing like the Butler interception made me feel the way it did since the final out in the 2004 World Series.

I've been blessed to witness many of Boston's greatest sports moments also. From "Havlicek stole the ball", to Fisk's World Series home run where he was jumping up and down on the first base line urging it to stay fair. But Butlers interception was the best for me because it ended the Super Bowl curse just when I thought we were going to lose again.

Yeah it was mainly built on relief. Seeing Kearse's miracle catch, it was like, what the hell why do we keep losing in the most cruel fashion at the last second? I felt demoralized and waited for the worst.

It was like Malcolm Butler hopped into the DeLorean from the future and came in and changed the script. I didn't think anything could be more special than the Patriots' first SB win but with all the hell and all the "no rings since Spygate" nonsense, it was deeply satisfying to put that to rest. If I remember nothing else from that season, it will be the interception and the joy (and shock) I felt immediately at that moment.

how is the immaculate interception not every answer in this thread?

Since there is whining about the same thing in every single thread right now, let's talk about something happier.

What was your favorite play from 2015?
The Julian Edelman pass is disqualified from competition for being too awesome.

Why, did he lie?

After all the Deflategate threads, this thread is turning my frown upside down.

One of them is in my sig. Here is the other:

Gronk's one handed snag at the goal-line against the Broncos was one of the most incredible catches I've ever seen.

I loved the James Devlin TD catch too as it just showed the toughness of every guy on the team.

Brady to Edelman SB game winning TD.

Brady to Lafell vs Ravens

Amendola first TD vs the Ravens

There were so many great plays.

A more general favorite of mine is just the way the Pats have blown out Indy since they tanked a season to get Andrew Luck. That has been a favorite of mine.

As for actual plays, let's start with the greatest defensive play in NFL history and go from there.

I liked the 3rd and 14 completion for 20 at the start of the 4th quarter of the SB that was shown here earlier.

Another incredible play involved Edelman vs Baltimore in the playoffs, when he fumbled while sitting on his butt after a catch. With the ball on the ground behind him and 4 Ravens pouncing, Edelman came up with it.

The ineligible receiver plays that made Harbaugh's head explode rank right up there too.

Gronk gets a few mentions with his one-handed catch, his catch and run vs Indy and throwing Sergio Brown out of the club.

And of course, this one...

Grow up. Why are you so butthurt about the fact that I think Tom Brady is capable of telling a lie?

You can call him a liar if you want. No skin off my nose.

If it's no skin off your nose then stop wasting your time making snarky comments about it in unrelated threads.
