There are 2 things about this debacle that I do not yet have a comfortable level of resolution to.

1) Why are The Deflator and The Dorito Dink suspended. I feel like either the Patriots have to come out with an explanation, or they are holding it for trial. Something to the effect of an additional means of cooperating until the final appeal is over. It seems like it is a pawn of some sort based upon Krafts cryptic response.

2) Someone in the league office needs to explain why they refused to tell the Patriots what the halftime measurements were, and why, when they did it was on the condition they remained secret. This seems like it would be a strong piece of evidence in court regarding the 'set up conspiracy', the lack of independence (I am not sure if it was the league or Wells that held them back) and a defamation issue. Given that the league leaked false information and refused to correct it, actually banning the Patriots from correcting it, this would seem to be greater proof of a scheme than anything involved TB12, TD, and DD.

1. Without evidence, Kraft took the NFL front office claim on faith at first. Plus, employees are often suspended pending an investigation.

2. The NFL wanted the Patriots to admit that they deflated the footballs.

I want to know why the Colts were allowed to tamper with footballs if it wasn't a sting. Colts should be punished for that.

And really, how DOES one get the nickname 'Dorito Dink'?

Hmmm... on second thought, maybe I don't want to know. o_O

They two could have easily been suspended for the whole thing they had going on with the kicks. From what I can figure from the texts, they may have been stealing shoes.
