The man brings an attitude. I'm not 100% sure he makes it out of TC though.

Spikes must have really been contrite and apologized to Bill if he was welcome back... His intensity and energy on D will be great to have.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I like Spikes for his role too, but I can't shake the feeling he's one of those "surprise" cuts that shouldn't have been that surprising. Hopefully not, I like his gusto.

If you look at the AFC they are mainly run first teams. Aside about 5 teams Spikes could get alot of reps to do just that smash McCoy, Smash, Ridley, Smash Ivory smash whoever Miami I lining up behind center.
I like it guys like Spikes, Sheard, Brown, mean guys who want to punish the offense.

i can see him as a gunner, he is a fast man, we dont need slater.

Cut in training camp when they find some scrub undrafted FA can do the same thing (20-25 plays a game in running situations) for 75% less dough....it's about VALUE people!

Brandon Spikes has A LOT of Patriots fans to un-block on Twitter.

Imagine being spikes, he missed a ring by a year. that being said i always liked spikes, he was a thumper in the middle that brought an attitude everybody around him would feed off of.

With Browner gone, this makes a lot of sense...every year, we need those type of guys on defense

Doesn't really move the needle for me, but he's solid depth and a good situational player. Better than Deontae Skinner, anyway.

I wonder if this move is more about a camp body while HT is recovering. Once he is back, BS is gonzo.

Mayo hasn't played a full year since 2012 either.
