POLL: Should Felger, Mazz and their puppy Adam move their show to Indianapolis?

Felger and Mazz will chase one word in a 243 page report like my dog goes after a squirrel. They can't help it and they will do it shamelessly with little understanding of the science behind the conclusion. I remember Mazz telling a caller that in order for a football to lose 2 psi it would have to be -11 F. Who told them that? Bill Nye the science guy? The reality is that many forgot to use absolute values when using the Guy-Lussac's law, myself included. The reality is a football in -11 degree F weather would lose 4 psi of pressure and potentially read 8.5 to 9.5 psi during the game. The reality is that all these football players claiming they can tell the difference when 2 psi is missing from a football never noticed during any game they played in below 32 F and all along don't understand how Brady didn't notice. The NFL never realized or never cared what the pressure of a football during game time was when their protocol is to check the footballs in a 70 deg room and put them outside in a hotter or colder temperature during the game. Yet we now hear about competitive advantage, we have the Sharp analysis and we are going to fry the Pats over 0 - 0.3 psi. Perception is powerful and the media has just been on a 3 month rant without understanding the science behind it. My dog never gets the squirrel because by the time he reaches the end of his leash the squirrel is gone. The media doesn't have a leash and can do a lot of damage to someone's reputation no matter how shameless it is. I want to hear issues presented with a Patriots perspective woven into them and not with the rest of the nations perspective.

They're horrible. I switched the the Sports Hub when it debuted and didn't turn back to WEEI until this year; I'll still listen to T&R at times but Felger followed by Jones is too much, it's an insult to the people of Boston. Don't listen, if their ratings plummet they lose their jobs, simple as that. WEEI or music, seriously if enough people do this things will change.

Just don't listen to them. They have jobs because they draw viewers. If they didn't, they wouldn't have jobs anymore.

Hate-consuming media has never made sense to me, but it especially doesn't now that it's clear that some of these guys' entire schtick is to draw that reaction out of you. Anyone who listens--regardless of why they're listening--is giving them what they want.

This point keeps being repeated and repeated... yet people still tune in and listen to those blowhards and keep them on the air..

I haven't watched them since a couple of days after the Superbowl. I just got so tired of their act. During the season I couldn't hardly watch them after the Pats won, let alone lose. Cripes we'd win by 30+ points and half the show would be about Brady throwing a pick at the end of the first half or some other bad play. They are dead to me now.

I was driving and did not have my phone with me, Mazz went crazy on a guy who said the Wells report did have that on one gage, 3 of the colts balls were under 12.5. Mazz said that is not what the report said, but this fact is in page 8 of the report. Felger also went crazy on a guy and they had other calls saying Pats fans are being fed wrong data.
Did I miss something? It is right there in the report.

Exactly! I remember when Mazz state that it would have to be -11 deg F before a football would lose 2 psi. The fact is that a football would lose about 4 psi in -11 deg weather. Which if he truly believes that it was only 2 psi he would think that something happened to those footballs and so he continues to bash Brady and the Pats with false data.

I can't understand anyone listing to Felger. I understand being open to looking at both sides but he is just a jerk who's entire gig is just to be anti.

You WANTED to call in - it's human nature.

And they're laughing at you, because you care so much and they don't . They only care that you care.

I know some people who used to produce for hate radio. Political crap. As in utter crap. There was a formula they used to rile up the rabble. It's got NOTHING to do with justice or decency or truth.

It's about $$$$. You listen, they win, no matter how sincerely you correct them.

Felger SHOULD care about someone that's HEARD about his "act" and been told the hatred filled things he says with impunity to ANYONE around him, he should care that such a person might take a MAN TO MAN's offense and fold his face like an accordion IN PUBLIC when he runs his mouth off like the braying jackass he is.

As people have said, if all of New England stop listening to them, they'll leave. You have the power to get rid of them. Unfortunately I'm guessing lots of people still listen to him and get angry and call in to tell what kind of a**holes they are. Those people are playing into their hands. Just stop. If everyone would just stop. They're gone, problem solved.

I wish the whole world would just stop watching the NFL for 2 years. That would be amazing. Really stick it to those greedy owners. Ain't ever going to happen though. I'd be all for it if we all decide to do it.

I've heard those spineless douchebags have a jerkoff call screener specifically hired to keep the hate/homer ratio at 80/20 Gasbaggotti should not even be LIVING in NE after the shyt he pulled in 2007. He survives by being that squeaky buttsicle sidekick to the Felching Phuckmouth...and I do not like the use of profanity in an indiscriminate fashion but since these TURDS are profane that is what I must use to describe them

Up until Drew Bledsoe and Bill Parcells the Patriots did not enjoy a huge fan base ... Patriot fans were just slightly more than Bruins fans. Add to that the fact that we rarely got to enjoy the Patriots on local channels because they rarely sold out ... so it was hard to closely follow the team except for the regular game viewers.

So we have lots of Giants ... Cowboys ... Steelers ... Raiders and the list goes on and on fans who did not give up their allegiences. We also used to have mostly beat writers before the 1990's and they had to walk a fine line in their reporting of the local team. Now with cable and satellite TV and the internet there are many more people opining on the Patriots ... and they need their own fans ... and well like I said there are many non Patriot fans in the area so they bring on the hate to get their piece of the pie.

A huge irony here is I see many lambasting WEEI vs The Sports Hub ... yet WEEI is mostly positive in their Patriot reporting except for Callahack and MiniHandJob in the morning.

Oh well ... just my 2 cents on how I see it ..........

It was a joke that Felger went on the air the day the Pats issued their response to the Wells report and said he hadn't read one word from it before he got into the studio and then ridiculed it for four hours (ok, I am assuming that since I didn't listen to the show and just hear the part where he admitted he didn't read it on WEEI).

They do have a screener that does that, I've known a few people that called in with good facts to refute whatever inane talking point they had and couldn't get through. Just avoid them, it actually feels good to go out of my way to ignore them on the radio and tv.

In fairness, most radio shows have call screeners who are tasked to keep callers who will make the host look bad off the air. They learned it from Ordway would had screeners who would only let callers who hated the local teams on who were complete morons that Ordway could dress down to make foolish like Dakota from Braintree.
