Anyone Else Missing Normal Patriots Talk?

No. I love listening to Tom being wrongfully persecuted every second of every day by all these blowhards.
Forever tainted, forever stained talk for something that may have been a 25000 dollar fine for other teams.

Real football? Who needs that? ;)

Personally, I am expecting things to quiet down on this front once reality sets in and it's not as fresh. We all realize that this is going to be a long, legal battle that will take the entire summer.

When that happens, we'll slowly return to discussing real football talk. Hopefully, that can happen within the next week or two on some level where we gradually increase our football related discussions.

I still haven't come down from the SB win yet. It's even more satisfying now that I know that Inspector Clouseau and the Keystone Cops were on our case while we were winning #4. They must have crapped their undies when The Butler Did It. :):):):):):)

This will only motivate him and the team more. Any slim chance there was of complacency has been replaced by a drive to repeat. It will most likely be a huge motivating factor, no matter what the outcome.

Hasn't talking about other people accusing the Patriots of cheating, and whining about it as an excuse, been normal Patriots talk since at least as far back as 2007?

Using my almost perfect hindsight vision, I have to wonder why we were surprised.

Man your posting has been first rate lately. Even when I don't agree with what you're saying I just nod my head in respect at the quality.

Wow. Thanks fnord. I really appreciate the kind words.

Usually by now this board has proclaimed most if not all of the Patriots draft picks as busts since few if any of them have demonstrated all pro potential during rookie mini camp

May is the time to discuss the offseason and how the new players might fit it. It is time to discuss our binkies. It is time to discuss minicamps. It is a time to discuss the free agents that we sign or might sign after the draft. There actually have been additions in the past week or two.

Let's be clear. For some, almost nothing matter but playoff games and the Super Bowl. They enjoy all the venting. After all, this way they can vent against more than things that have to do with New York. Their horizons have been expanded.
No one is stopping you if you want to create that. My answer is always the guys we pay to see them at practice and evaluate them have done nothing to make me question their judgement, but have at it. It is May, what else you gonna do for a few months?
Then I skip about 30 threads because I know that answer is boring.
