Ive never heard Russo until now, he sounds like a blithering idiot.

He's always been a blithering idiot. One of the things that I could never understand from his NY radio days is they would be discussing a game and Russo would semi-regularly say "I didn't see it, but..." It wasn't a Mets game on the west coast or a random Knicks game in January. It could be a MNF game with the Giants or a game in the Final Four. I'd always wonder "You're job is to watch sports and talk about them. How can you be skipping big games?"

It's years later and now Russo is on Sirius. I realize the guy has a family and a social life and I have no idea what else goes into a radio show besides showing up and talking, but how can he not have read the Wells report a week and a half later? It's not an exciting read, but people here have read it and they have full time jobs that don't involve them being able to discuss the report intelligently.

Tanguay was filling in for John Dennis this week on the Dennis and Callahan show. That was Gary Tanguay you heard.

It is human nature to consider what other members of the tribe think of you, however, logic mandates there must be a limit when tribe members repeatedly base it on gross ignorance. As we have seen repeatedly the tribe absolutely thrives on loudly spoken ignorance.

I went through that exact thing yesterday with two people. Of course they didn't read the report or the counter report, but they knew enough to laugh at deflator referring to weight loss. I know that both of those guys have a brain so they have no excuse.

Because people are too stupid to realize they're getting trolled. Even worse, they get incensed and come back here and post what he says so hundreds and hundreds of other people can tune in just to get offended. Dumb asses.

As for Miller and Kirwin, I ALWAYS listen to them on my commute home from work everyday. They are, bar none, the best tandem on the NFL network. What they did to Russo was award-winning stuff.

It is an interesting dynamic. People ***** about them, listen, then ***** again. Not sure if it because they hate the hating he does on the NEP or are the appeasing their mascaistic side by tuning in.

It isn't an improbability that Brady and Jastremski are social at Gillette but don't text each other when on their personal time. So just because Brady reached out to Jastremski after equipment guys were being accused and he was just asking how he was doing because at that point Brady was lazer focused on Seattle and the SB and there wasn't much time for social stuff that is somehow guilt.

Brady is courteous to those who work for him. He gives them regular and fairly generous gifts, especially if they have less than 1/1o0th of his annual income.

Wells regards that as abnormal and suspicious behavior.

I just don't understand why. Every sports-fan I know in real life hates him and refuses to listen to his show. Where the hell are all his ratings coming from?

I suspect a huge chunk of it is coming from guys painting houses and shingling houses and landscaping who just put sports-radio on in the background.

The Patriots are the most beloved sports franchise in New England so I really don't get how a guy who irrationally dumps on them has such a big show.

Couldnt listen for more then 2 min, russo is so ridiculous, doesnt care about discussing just ranting same old lies. Must be big in Ny. Have had better discussions with my dogs.
