Anyone Else Missing Normal Patriots Talk?

Like what we normally discuss this time of year. The actual team and not having to talk about rulings, lawsuits, and worrying about our teamy being defamed?

I'm missing the normal, boring, dry time offseason. Never thought I'd say that.

I miss foolishly thinking that everything would end up ok.

It is May. I don't think there would be much otherwise.

It sucks, but for those of us who remember the Hugh Millen/**** McPherson years, it's crazy to think that the Patriots are the center of the sports universe. It's pretty cool that they're reviled for their success, and this deflate nonsense is such a blatant attempt to topple the king. It's just a game, so pay attention to the stuff you want and ignore the stupid crap. It's quite hilarious when you step back and look at it tho.

More collateral damage from the NFL offices. Is it a bug or a feature? It is just like how we were deprived of the enjoyment post AFCCG game and in the lead up to the Superbowl.

It is almost like "If we can't stop the Pats from winning at least we can prevent them from enjoying it".

The league wouldn't do anything like that intentionally would they?

Let's talk about all our Superbowl trophies.

We got lots of them.

I miss the traditions of this part of the year, like the dolphins winning the free agency or the media saying the afc east is getting stronger until the pats win the division and become the worst division of the league.
And of course, the part when belichick is cheap and arrogant after losing some free agents.

I am enjoying this more than ever. We won our 4th Super Bowl and we are about to bring Goodell and the NFL to it's knees as we make them, the media, and the country look like fools. Doesn't get any better than this.

Its an interesting question.

As a fan of the Pats, this is the last thing I want. If it ended tomorrow and Goody apologized and TB12 and the Pats were cleared of everything, I'd be very happy moving on to *****ing about the CB situation.

But for a moment, pretend that we don't care that OUR team is getting screwed and people's lives are being flipped upside down, the drama and entertainment factor is a 10.

I suspect Herr Goodell and his storm troopers have branded the franchise with Deflategate forevermore.

I hate the situation. I have been foaming out the mouth with anger recently. It's unhealthy and I wish it never ever happened. I wish...terrible things...upon Goodell, Wells, Vincent, Grigson, Kravitz, Irsay and all the rat fans in New Jersey....

That being said it has been thoroughly entertaining on PatsFans.

I hear there's a guy around here who cast curses on other forum members here a while back.. maybe he can do the same towards them.

I don't care about all these douchebags. This has been a helluva run. I'll take the bad, and the insane, with the good. And the great. And the GOAT.

Its a dead period in the NFL. If they weren't talking Wells Report, suspensions, appeals, etc. Most of the talk on talk radio would be the Red Sox's crappy line up.

Well ..... the New England Patriots are definitely missing NFL caliber cornerbacks.
