It's easy, and only takes a few moments.... that a nice way to call some one incompetent/stupid"We also note that one arbitrator has previously found that you ( Vincent), in particular, are unfamiliar with proper NFL discipline procedures and have no role in imposing discipline." Peterson Art. 46
"Dear Troy..."
Never have I seen "dear" so misused.
Shouldn't Goodell want someone independent to agree with the reports findings and the discipline? The only reason he would want to hear it is to uphold it. But he knows the pats will then take it to court and it will probably be overturned. Why would Goodell want to look this incompetent when all is said and done? Who is advising him? Im surprised he wants to look like this. Why not just sit back and let someone independent review all this
They can mutually agree to delay but if either side disagrees it has to be in 10 days my guessWhere are you getting that from? Greg Hardy filed his appeal on April 24th and it won't be heard until May 28th.
He does not have to recuse himself, but if he does not, then the hearing will wait until they go to court over it:Sources saying Goodell won't recuse himself
I didn't want to make a new thread but maybe a mod could edit the thread title ti:
"Goodell will hear Brady's appeal, won't recuse himself"
Saw a story today that Brady's popularity has dropped 15 percent in the past week. That's real, measurable damage to his reputation and brand. I can't imagine him settling.Speculation from Albert on Comcast is that Goodell may offer Brady a deal and reduce to 2 games for not cooperating and drop the cheating charge. Bet that will taste reeeeeeeeeeeeal good after Tom has been smeared from coast to coast over the past week and going forward for being a cheater.
Hope Tom does not take any deal....make it all or nothing Tom.
That works both ways, asshat.we will see what goodell does.......then maybe brady appeals to judge doty
but that will be the end.....no way he sues......he doesnt want discovery and subpoena power
Brady and Gisele are together worth 410 million.Saw this Tweet tonight:

Kraft is on the compensation committee. I do not know how many other owners are on it.
How can you not care when they're trying to destroy the Pats?Anyone else at the point where they just dont give a F anymore? I really don't care I feel like I'm in a bad sitcom.

It would be amusing to hear him cross examine himself when he's called as a witness.Stepping back for a moment, I have to say it's actually pretty hilarious that Goodell is trying to hear the appeal.
I envision him stepping out of the room, putting a wig on, coming back in..."oh yes, I agree with what he said..." a la Mrs. Doubtfire or something. The mind reels.
