If Goodell is hearing the appeal...they it's right...they can't win. But hopefully he won't be.

I dont know if Brady cant win, but evidence says Goodell always lose the appeals hahaha.

oh so the douchebag 2-6 show just got their 4 hours tomorrow

Douchebag 1: Lester Munson of ESPN, who is one of the most respected legal experts in all of sports says there is no way Brady can win the appeal
Douchebag 2: Ya I saw this and you know what I agree with some of his points
Douchebag 1: Some? I ended up agreeing with all of what he said
Douchebag 2: Actually I think i'm with you I agree with everything he said
Douchebag 1: I mean how could you not. We will dive into all of that and more today, lines are loaded, probably full of Pats toadies looking to cry about how the wheels are starting to cone off of this thing for the team and Brady, we're back after this quick commercial break.

I have lost all respect for ESPN. I used to think they were a respectable organization but their bias against the pats is ridiculous. I've stopped clicking on their links and I'm not one who wants to shut myself off from different sources. I just wanna know why the players allowed Goodell to have so much power and hear appeals himself. I'll never understand that. There has never been a player in professional sports who brings out this much jealousy. I just hope that this whole nonsense motivates Brady even more to play as long as he can and win as many Super Bowls as he can.

Look who ESPN hires and prances in front of the cameras. Wiley..and co. All complete and utter morons..talk about .o integrity

Missed the part where they give each other hands in the backroom after.

Too bad that about Willie possibly having to toe the company line. Man it seems like this is getting pretty damn serious. There's some very bad blood between the Pats and the rest of the league, particularly the league office.

Could someone please 'splain about Willie and what went down on NFLN?

I feel really bad for Mike Reiss. He talks about how it used to be "his" blog, but we've seen some impressively terrible articles in that space now that he has no control over it.

Munson was a disgraced lawer who has been suspended, disbarred, who decided to take up journalism instead of continuing to practicing law.

After his admittance to the Illinois State Bar in 1976 and practicing law for 13 years, it appears Munson, facing multiple charges of misconduct occurring during a time he was already on probation by the Ilinois Bar, voluntarily agreed to discontinue practicing law. As a mitigating factor in his misconduct, Munson pointed to his alcoholism. In its 1991 decision to suspend Munson’s law license because of his continued misconduct while on probation, the Disciplinary Commission wrote:
“On September 30, 1986, Respondent was suspended from the practice of law for three years and until further order of the Court, and this suspension was stayed and Respondent was placed on probation for three years with conditions. In re Munson, No. 85 CH 57, M.R. 4029. Respondent's misconduct included his neglect of three client matters as well as misstatements regarding the status of two of the client matters. Respondent's misconduct was attributable to his alcoholism.”
.

“In October 1989, Respondent discontinued practicing. Respondent has no current intention to return to the practice of law.”

Holy crap! BSPN and the rest of the mediots must feel invincible! They're using this guy as a legal analyst? I'd say it's gutsy but it really isn't, they know how blind, dumb and hateful those haters are.

His comments were basically in

He seemed to support why the nfl did what they did to the pats, it seemed forced and he looked uncomfortable. He was on with the asshat silver

He tore into Silver the night of Brady's appearance at Salem. Lit him up. Silver is such a weasel. Screw those losers.

I have to publicly apologize. The lawyers for Garbage contacted me.

By calling ESPN Garbage I was knowingly degrading and smearing the name of Garbage. I meant no harm for Garbage and I am completely sorry my calling ESPN Garbage has ruined the Garbage reputation. I hope this settles the wrongdoing I have done and that Garbage will forgive me.

At least you have the balls and integrity to apologize, can't say the same for Goodell and co.

Munson made several errors but I'll focus on one since he's an attorney. He uses the term "clear and convincing evidence" which has significance in legal matters as it is one notch above "by a preponderance of the evidence" "more likely than not" which is what Wells "concluded" but lower than " beyond a reasonable doubt" which is the criminal standard. In essence, Wells claimed the lowest standard of proof which many of us would argue that he failed to meet even that. Munson concludes beyond even Wells that Brady's guilt was "clear and convincing" which even Wells didn't conclude.....

This is literally the worst article I've read on the situation. Not surprising considering ESPN distorting facts and outright lying started the whole thing.
This is why it confuses me why he wrote it. Most analysts can appear correct as long as they hedge their bets and make few conclusory statements. Here, Munson goes so far in with Wells and the League that if Brady wins, Munson looks like a buffoon.

ESPN.

Why even link to that garbage anymore?
This. Please stop clicking on ESPN or reading their garbage. They are the big winners in all of this.

Lester Munson doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
Isn't he uncle Lester, part of that family of monsters and misfits that had a tv show back in the 80ies? What do you expect?

ESPN has become a rumor mongering site rather than quality journalism. They are the TMZ of sports
