Tremendous phrasing here in the NFLPA letter, sums up reality of the Wells Report. Read. More. Carefully. Next. Time

Just finished reading it and I would have to think that this isn't normal. Plus, all of the prior failures (Rice, Peterson, Bountygate) are being used against him. I love the karma.

I agree....... and another HUGE tell is that with this note, Tom's first line of defense is that this was a STING operation from the start, and that both Goodell and Vincent's testomony will be required on that basis alone so from a legal standpoint they cannot act as abitrators and witness in the same matter. I think that the "sting" line of defense is hugely plausible and likely the most DAMAGING to the shield.

If it's proven....... There will be a full cleansing of the house happening at the league office.

I think we know why Kessler was brought in now too.

If Goodell doesn't overturn the suspension then he's broken the CBA and Kessler will go to court for the NFLPA in an antitrust case.

So that's what, 3 antitrust lawsuits, 4 defamation ones and 2 possible malicious use of process?

I'm just gonna say this.

Im proud of my fellow pats fans and all their Supernatural gift

**** just got serious

Strike strike strike !!

This is a good a case as any for players to take a stand

I just hope in the end that Tom Brady can say....

"Fungoo Roger!"

I absolutely LOVE this headline...

NFLPA To Troy Vincent: You Have No Authority To Suspend Tom Brady

Personally I dont think it was a sting by NFL . The colts notified the league which didnt take it seriously but the colts along with kensil also did their own sting . Once it all came out, the NFL tried covering up first by blandino saying they were unaware and then wells stating there was a letter to the league the day before and wells again in his presser messing up saying it was ignored.
Basically these guys are so disorganized even with their own stories that its pathetic.

KABOOM!!!!!!

So the NFLPA are most likely going to court prior to the appeal.

I wish Kessler assisted the Pats with their website put up yesterday. A much better response than the Pats did.
The Pats tried to achieve a balancing act with their rebuttal...part lawyery and part social media. I'm not sure they found that tone but either way they got it out there and got the job done IMO.

So, the NFLPA says, "We plan on calling Goodell as a witness as part of our appeal." and Goodell says, "Tough noogies, because I'm the arbitrator."

It's like a scene George Orwell cut out of 1984 for being too densely totalitarian.

That's only going to make Goodell look even more eggregious to the Federal judges.

So knowing that Tom and the NFLPA will seek recusal and search for a neutral arbitrator if need be, is Goodell just being a difficult asshat, or is there another legal strategy for him to choose to be the arbitrator?

Well this makes the appeals hearing with Goody a bit more uncomfortable....:p

Possibly true....... but Kensil is a league official and by extension.... "the League". They can fire him and say that "we were not okay with his actions", but as you state.... They participated FULLY in the cover up of the sting. So, in the eyes of the court, will be be just as guilty as the Colts.
