PFT: Wells contradicts himself on the McNally Texts

I've never been a big fan of Florio and had many posts deleted on PFT calling him out. I think he has been fair on his coverage. Yes he has many deflate articles that paint the Patriots in a bad light but he also has plenty to say what's wrong on the other side too.

Florio has not not hit the fair standard on the continuum as of yet, but he has posted inconsistencies and posted hysteria as well... he appeals to the lowest common denominator for the masses.. his need to be "liked" and "followed" are obvious...

Florio writes for clicks. I believe he's a literary slut with the morals of a feral cat. While I think his least-favorite team is NE (not much room on that media bus), I think he likes trolling fans everywhere.

Well to be honest, he is way better than giving stories from both sides in 70:30 ratio, compared to our local media stooges who keep yapping " Brady is arrogant, Patriots are arrogant, they stole my lunch money....they are the reason no one cares about my beloved redsox... booo hooo..."

about this piece, well, many of you have said multiple times, when it goes to court, NFL is ****ed !!

Florio's currency is chaos and controversies. Whatever riles up emotions will bring him more hits and comments. He doesn't care about anything else.

So, the two texts that mention the word deflate are the most damning evidence of a conspiracy to tamper with the balls. Wells is going to interview/interrogate the guy that is involved with sending them and he does not notice them until afterwards?!?!?!

Items from the deflate-gate Forum back in January -

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...ptual-summary-of-deflategate-no-math.1116000/ : "That the NFL, encountering an underinflated ball during a game, would not firstly consider weather effects, would not secondly consider defect in the ball, but would immediately leap to and widely broadcast the supposition that cheating had occurred is both pig ignorant and wantonly malicious. "

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...eague-has-nothing.1115762/page-8#post-4099156 :
"If the NFL wanted a graceful way out of this, they should announce that they have a rule which inadequately addresses the real-world situation, that they thank the Colts for bringing it to their attention, that they are sorry the Patriots had to be disrupted during their Super Bowl preparation while this was studied, that the Super Bowl balls will be checked immediately before game time and at half time, and that the rule will be addressed in the off season to clarify its obvious conflict with Mother Nature."

wells looks like a pervert

this factor alone should be cause to eliminate all of the punishments for the team, they shouldn't be punished regardless, but being uncooperative was the reasoning and now that is a farce

How about not releasing bogus PSI claims to fuel the media firestorm and not letting Brady and Belichick defend themselves over BOGUS ****ING PSI NUMBERS?!?

I can't get over that. People do realize that this is the same league and the same Goodell that handled the entire Ray Rice fiasco, right? What a sh*tshow, and we're supposed to believe this so-called independent investigator, and swallow these insane, outrageous penalties?

I'd prefer this, more accurate statement:

The NFL’s culture regarding football inflation definitely will change, but it’s happening only after it makes an example of one team for which there is no scientific evidence that they tampered with the footballs prior to the AFC title game.

The NFL’s culture regarding football inflation definitely will change, but it’s happening only after it makes an example of one team that, based on the scientific evidence, may not have actually tampered with the footballs prior to the AFC title game.

but overall, I will take it

When all of this is over, the only real winner will be Florio.

Who was it that said he looked like a street walker? Cause yeah.
Someone needs to put "70's pimp background music" in all his video. It might just add the right touch (and ironically, be exactly what he's made of his profession).

He looks like a carnival barker.

Ted Wells looks like a character from the childrens' show Lazy Town. I swear to god, my stepdaughter watches it sometimes and that's exactly what he looks like...

He looks a street walker because that is what he is..A highly paid prostitute. He gives you what you want for a price
