the bottom line is that there's not much substance to any of it
the league itself was who derailed this from the very first moment....if it was about integrity of the game , then why wasn't this fully addressed BEFORE the AFCC? there is no integrity in the league office, so they should not complain

As sad as it is, some do value what Michael Irvin thinks.
Its my belief that is why ESPN didn't renew his deal.Sports media is largely a cesspool. Most ex-athletes aren't exactly known for their cognitive reasoning ability, the non ex-athlete "journalists" have examples like Borges, CHB, Tomase, Felger who can put out whatever jibberish they want and never get fired for the quality of the content, and the execs are driven entirely and exclusively by drumming up emotions and getting views or clicks.
However, give credit where credit is due within the cesspool. Irvin may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but he is one of the precious few guys that try to give analysis without grinding an axe. I don't recall ever seeing irvin on TV panning someone or something because of underlying feelings of dislike, envy or anger. Brother, in the yellow journalism, clicks at any cost, grinding the axes down to the nub business of the NFL media it is worth noting someone like Irvin.

Love Michael and love Deion Sander too. I always think of them as a pair because they're such good friends. Both those guys more often than not have the Patriots back
As for guys like Faulk and Warner, they always feel slighted. Like they deserved another championship and more accolades. They are jealous of our greatness.

who cares about public opinion.....the only thing that makes a pats game better is a win
the only things that make them worse is a loss or an injury
I listened to Chris Simms foaming on the radio yesterday about Brady and I had great difficulty giving a crap.....the envy was pathetic
