Michael Silver says Patriots response 'insults our intelligence'

The problem with people like Michael Silver, is that their minds were already made up due to a pre-existing envy complex against the Patriots.

No amount of evidence clearing Brady is going to change that.

I've seen neutral media members suggest a perfectly reasonable explanation for the under inflated footballs, but your Michael Silvers are too childish to even acknowledge the other side of the argument.

They resort to tactics like talking more loudly/laughing and shaking their head... or repeating the exact same point again without justifying it.

It really is a child-like jealousy that these people have. Somewhere inside Michael Silver there was a good human being once.

Michael Silver is trying to be Peter King. Last week he told Willie Mac. that ... he know more about reporting than him.....Brady should have admitted to guilt like Rodney Harrison did for HGH. Willie turned around and told him that ...he has more insight into Rodney's situation than him. Michal Silver had no response .. turned into a b**ch and started to tell Willie Mac that he has lot of respect for him... blah...blah..
Micheal Silver is just out there to just make name for himself at the expense of someone who regarded him as a friend. Shame on Brady for not regonizing this after the Spygate.

Silver is an NFL employee on air doing spin control. The NFL has their own network. I saw Heath Evans on yesterday catch himself and basically say he was restricted in what he could say (and implied keep his job)

Silver has an extremely thin skin. Any criticism is seen as a personal attack. I'm hoping someone more responsible at NFLN (not that I watch it any longer) reads his Twitter feed. It's not exactly ... professional.

Silver's comments about the integrity of the game are particularly galling. This is a league that only started testing for the most widely used PED last year. And even then, much like its hollow domestic violence initiative, their efforts have been roundly criticized as being ineffective. Talk to me about the integrity of the game when that issue is put to rest because as it stands now I'm pretty sure there are loads of players/cheaters still using them.

Also that Silver felt the need to address the issue of bias and who pays him today on the air today suggests that Pats fans have taken up residence in his melon where they are no doubt finding plenty of room to stretch their legs.

Brady and Kraft are diplomats. They have a core belief not to irritate, agitate or make someone not like them.

Belichick lives by no such principal. While cordial and engaging, he'll polarize your opinion of him.

Give me a single believable context in which this text could be talking about the act of deflating footballs?

There is nothing about how "deflate" is structured in that sentence that makes it even connectable to the the act of deflating footballs.

But it makes perfect sense when its used to describe the act of losing weight.
