I havent read this yet but Iam sure wells protected himself against this. Iam wondering what is it in the investigation that wells didnt put in the report and holding back for situations like this. I hope the pats retort blows this issue out of the water but considering the nfl's ways Iam worried what other crap they will throw at us.

Yep. The room even had one of the guys from the NFL who had received the email to be on the lookout for any ball shenanigans in there.

Just the fact that the Wells report LEFT OUT INFORMATION INCLUDING IMPORTANT TEXTS is extremely damaging to the whole report.

Ted Wells handed victory to the Patriots on a silver platter.

Bertrand dismissing all this is silly. It could be a BS explaination, but plenty of friends have stupid inside jokes that if they explained them to other people it would be ridiculous.

Yes, they are -- as is most of my tweetstream (which is media and non-media).

I'm not saying the "'Deflator' means trying to lose weight" claim is false. I'm saying that to the extent NE is trying to use this rebuttal as a PR counteroffensive they should have left it out and saved it for any upcoming lawsuit.

Because like it or not, what's happening is that the media and others is focussing on that, mocking it, and dismissing/overlooking the rest of the rebuttal.

I don't know what to think about the texts, but why don't they just ask those guys what they were talking about? Did anyone ask them about the texts?

Goodell and Wells' error was thinking Kraft would roll over.

For the love of God get Volin off of our feed. I've been begging for months but this is ridiculous. Just read what's over there right now. It's inexcusable.

After a decade of defending this team the pats finally won the sb last season and I thought no sb could ever feel as good. But if the pats win the much hyped super bowl 50 I would die a happy man.
