Curran: ‘Outstanding chance' you’ll see Brady on Week 1

Is this what we want? Honestly, do we want Brady to be playing due to a technicality over the appeals process?

Hell no, not me. I want him playing because his appeal showed Wells' report to be biased, Exponent to be the client shills they are, the data to side with the Patriots and Goodell/Kensil/Grigson/Blandino/Vincent to be shown as the incompetent, malicious ****weeds they are.

Swift and thorough annihilation of the report by an incredible labor lawyer, that's what I want and expect. If Brady's still fighting this in four months then this will be a loss in my eyes.

Or it could play out that, like Vilma, Brady plays the entire season, wins the Super Bowl, is suspended 2 games after the hearing, then retires, and sues the NFL for defamation.

What happens if Brady is playing because he is appealing then when the decesion comes down they rule against him? Isn't it's better to miss games at the start of the season rather toward the end and the playoffs?

I fully expect Brady to be playing on opening night once this report is dissected for the LUVS diaper it truly is during the appeal.

yup. this will get dragged out for a loooong time. keeps the media buzz going.

will Brady be suspended for the lst round playoff game against the Bills?

Lets hope Brady's appeal only takes 2 and a half months, not 8 or 9.

Brady could have the suspension reduced to 1 game, and have that 1 game be in December or January, after the court decision is reached.

Pats will have a bye so won't be playing in the 1st round. Bills make the playoffs??? That's a good one

Are you a disgruntled former employee of Procter & Gamble? I can't think why else you'd hate LUVS so much! :D

Ultimately Brady will not be suspended as a procedural matter. I've believed that since Emperor Goody dropped the H Bomb. The NFLPA was absolutely correct in talking about his past smackdowns from independent authorities. Seems likely, IMHO, this is shaping up to be another smackdown in terms of what punishment he decided.
However, the process could drag out and Brady could be out while the ultimate victory is achieved. But, again IMHO, that isn't the victory that Brady, Kraft and all of us are looking for. I'd accept Brady missing a game if it also means an authority proclaims "not guilty even at a 50.01% level". This is the victory I want and I suspect everyone involved on our side wants.

@Edwerderespn: Tom Brady, 2011 WEEI interview: “When Gronk scores, he spikes the ball and deflates the ball. I love that, b/c I like the deflated ball.''

@Edwerderespn: @Unclerico778 Patriot lawyer claimed no evidence Brady prefers deflated ball. Seems maybe there is
