Fans set up a GoFundMe site to raise money for the $1M fine

I came on here to post how idiotic this idea is. Take that $ and donate to one of the many charities the patriots support/fund - or pick one of your own.

Guys, this is only meant to be symbolic - nothing more than that. A simple demonstration of support.

I would be really surprise if Kraft or the Patriots organization accepted the money as profits regardless. However much is raised, they will probably either accept it on behalf of a charity, or refuse to accept it altogether.

Bob Kraft: "I appreciate the support guys, but I found the $1 million dollars between the cushions of the couch in my private airplane. I then blew my nose with it and used the other million that accidentally got sucked up in the vacuum to pay the fine."

What a waste. There should be instead a GoFundMe to rent out billboards around Boston with signs of support for Brady.

How about a go f--k yourself site for the NFL!

boycottrogersnfl.com (or some naming variant)

List all the companies that pay Roger's NFL money and include their contact info. Supporters would then be encouraged to not support any of the listed companies and to call said companies to advise them of their non-support choice.

I get that it's a symbolic gesture, but you could possibly put it toward the legal fees of McNally and Jastremski maybe?

I like the billboard idea too...

I have a feeling you're gonna see even more odd things in coming days. For instance, someone tweeted me the link to a sale of the domain Patri0ts.com that went live today. I thought it was a joke until I looked at the listing at godaddy and it appears that the "O" is actually a zero, so it has a eerily similar look.

If I had the asking price of $17,500 I would buy it myself just to keep it out of dubious hands!

Maybe this can be converted to a fund to buy all the tickets to the game and burn them so nobody is in the stadium opening night and no concessions or parking money is made. Now that would be an epic "NFL Experience".
