I know! I know! Not another Ron Borges thread, but I thought it was funny how stupid he was today in his column while trying to taunt Patriots fans on their stupidity. From his column:

Ummm... Ron..... The coaches (other than Gregg Williams who had his appeal heard by a different arbitrator, Joe Vitt), management, and Saints in the Bountygate scandal didn't appeal their punishments. In fact, Sean Payton was ridiculed by many for not appealing his suspension when all the players got their suspensions reduced or vacated.
The only fool's errand I see is trying to find a cogent fact in a Ron Borges article.
Goodell (and any future NFL commissioner) already has lost considerable power as a result of a number of stumbling steps and poor decisions made by him and his advisors in the cases of Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson and the botched Bountygate debacle involving the New Orleans Saints. In the latter case, Goodell laid down harsh sanctions on players and coaches and then appointed former commissioner Paul Tagliabue to hear their appeals.
Although Tagliabue upheld Goodell’s findings, he vacated the player suspensions (but not those on management and coaches, which is something the Pats should be mindful of before they go off the deep end on a fool’s errand). In his ruling, Tagliabue charged Goodell with both “selective prosecution’’ and “selective enforcement.’’
