Yeah most will praise his tone and find it believable and convincing...somehow.

Just watch. I'm gazing at headlines on the top of our page. "Wells hammers back at Yee and critics". They'll think he did a great job.
These are the same people who think the report was honest and unbias

I am not trying to single anyone out in particular but, can the instant gratification, ADD guys on here please shut up already. I mean last night it was Kraft the **** who diddnt hire a hit man only 2 hours after the punishment was read. Now we have people asking why Brady hasn't done a PC and proclaimed his innocence.

Everything has to be so "now" with some of you because you have no patience and obviously no idea on how you create strategy defending false accusations on a grand scale with a mob mentality public.

only thing Iam wondering about is if tom is 100% innocent why hasnt he come out and go nuclear yet with his and his family name being dragged through the mud ? Why hide behind lawyer speak when you have nothing to hide?
Give it time. The first thing he needs to do is file his appeal and exhaust his remedies with the league under the CBA. Then, if Goodell doesn't agree to appoint an independent arbitrator, file a lawsuit in federal court. Any lawyer worth his salt would tell Brady to be quiet at this time.

I'm still working my way through this thread, but isn't Wells displaying the arrogance that the press always criticizes Belichick for?

"I'm Ted Wells. People aren't permitted to question my integrity. I'm conducting a conference call to set everyone straight."

I wish someone would have asked Wells the following - Ted, since you did not believe a word said to you by Brady or anyone from the Patriots and challenged their integrity, why should we believe a word that you say?

They had a ton of reporters on hold still waiting to ask questions when they abruptly ended the call.

How about someone asking, "about how much time was put into investigating the sting portion, because it sounds like you said "mike was this a sting?" And he said "no" and you were done. If this was brought up after the first Colts game why did they wait so long, did they think Brady only did it against the Colts.

They gave a 2 hr notice and only volin and curran got in questions.

I read on yahoo that wells said he had 'Direct Evidence' of bradys guilt in his press conference.... I wish someone asked him why didn't he use it in his report.

100% proof that this is all ******** and it was NOT an independent investigation.

Wells suggesting that there is no way the NFL would want to bring down Ton Brady. That it's absurd and doesn't make sense.

Oh right. So they didn't want to let Brady twist in the wind on the eve of the Super Bowl. They didn't want his face plastered all over national media as being a cheater. The gleeful owners and executives, and players in the league who are gloating did not want to see Brady tarnished.

Lies lies lies. This son of a ***** makes my blood boil.

NFL payed 5 million $ for a hit on Brady and the Patriots. That is very clear.

I still don't understand this. If Brady didn't have anything to hide (which I believe he didn't) and knew the text records would essentially exonerate him completely why didn't he just cooperate? He had a chance to clear his name and just refused to do so for what reason? I can't think of a logical reason to not to allow the text records to be examined unless there was incriminating stuff in there and knew he was better off just refusing completely.

Can anyone explain why? I'm sure I'm missing something here and would like to hear someone to elaborate on his motive to not allow the text printouts to be processed. That's just the one thing here that doesn't click with me.

I've seen many intelligent posters here say you never give up your phone in an investigation or something like that can't really elaborate much on it since I'm also curious why he didn't

I''m gonna say it's 'More Probable Than Not' that Fix Was In before Well's Investigation was even put in motion.

Why not let a cop search your car and phone for getting pulled over?

Because the two other parties whos phones they did look at would have had anything brady sent to them. They really didn't need to see bradys phone. And i either read or heard he didn't want to set a precedent by letting the nfl look through his phone. Wells published personal details McNally on of the equipment managers whos phone was checked out. Imagine the leaks from bradys phone would be like? These guys would probably sell it to TMZ, brady did the right thing.

No one is answering the question.

Apparently the answer is that in Brady's estimation the league didn't need the requested information so he didn't give it to them. The punishment for that is 0-4 games, depending on the appeal process.
