Long shot here, but seeing that Mr. Wells was pretty livid about his "integrity" being questioned, and he gets torn to shreds by Brady's lawyers (Yee already tore him up with a simple statement), he decides if this, I am NOT going down for Goddell and his NFL goons, and decides to come out and openly spill some dirt on "instructions" he received from Goddell, on how to conduct this farce (investigation) completely turning it on Rog-Jet. Oh, I can dream can't I ????

Nah. Wells got millions for staying quiet. That's why this thing went 100 days so Wells could "bill" them.

Ha, that would be incredible. His career would be over, he'd be disbarred and probably sued a million times over (this would reverberate across all the NFL investigations he's run).

0.0% chance this would happen, but it's a fun thought.

I hope it's a slow and agonizing process. I want closure to come to this after about 1 year of dragging names, procedures,investigators, refs. All of them. No fast and easy like it could of been had they had half a brain.

Hiring Kessler, of all people, is the absolute definition of bringing out the big guns. Brady's going nuclear here, and I'm happy to hear it. **** it, bring the whole league down for all I care. Worth it.

So much for the argument that Brady isn't willing to take this to court because he is afraid to get his cell phone subpoenaed. You don't hire an antitrust attorney to fight a suspension unless you are willing to take this to court.

The fan in me is jumping like kid on Christmas ... the rational man in me(whatever is left) is telling me this will get really ugly ... for everyone...

Brady just dropped a 500 lb sledge hammer.
You don't hire a labor law and anti-trust attorney to go sit in an appeal with Roger Goodell.
You do that to show you are taking this all the way, and nothing is off the table.

Tom Brady is being denied his ability to make a living with insufficient evidence while being protected by a CBA that says the league has no subpoena power, yet he is suspended for not complying with their informal subpoena. This is a case a rookie public defender could win. Kessler will bring the league to its knees if they don't reverse this and totally exonerate Brady.

This just became about much, much more than one case of discipline to the league. Brady and Kessler will take this fight as far as needed to challenge everything about Goodells right to do the crap he has been doing.
The league would be smart to do what Bob Kraft suggested and apologize to the Patriots after they announce that upon further review they have discovered serious flaws in the investigation, methods and process that Ted Wells used to prepare the Wells report and no longer consider its findings to be valid. Oh, and will no longer employ Wells in this capacity.
