If he wants Yee to publish his notes, why doesn't he just publish the transcript of the interview, along with all the transcripts of the others interviews as well?

So I can't wait to hear what wells and goodell got to say when they under oath and pats lawyers can cross examine them.

This is the **** they make movies out of

Wells:“I think it is wrong to criticize my independence just because you disagree with my findings."

No you idiot we are criticizing your independence because you completely ignored 90% of your findings to come to the conclusion that the Patriots probably did it and Brady knew about it.

MORON.

Mr Wells where were you born, what team did you root for, were you ever employed by NY team?
because the other two bozos have, which questions everybody's impartiality.

Today has shown why Don Yee has his name on the door and is a professor for for 2 law schools, where as Ted Wells is just another peon for a firm and isn't a professor for any law school.

Well I think we have an idea what Goodell is going to say every time he is asked a question in court.

"I was not involved in any of the process involved in this matter"

I assume Wells and his firm have argued before a judge many, many cases. I'd be willing to bet the mortgage payment he or his firm have vehemently questioned the independence, and thereby the veracity, of a report/investigation because the report/investigation was paid for by the oppositions counsel or connections to the opposition's counsel.

Seems to me if they have done this and someone can find the transcript where they stated this, Wells' whole foundation of independence will be markedly shaken by his/his firm's own words. Actually finding that could be a tipping point in the media.

More thoughts on this.

Wells is claiming that his investigation was independent and not influenced by the league, but he says he wrote his findings as 'more probable than not" because that is the league's standard.
If you are independent then you are doing an investigation to find facts, not to prove something to a level the person who hired you provides. By definition that is not independent.

That's what struck me from the day the report was released.

He was paid 5 million dollars and he wants yee to publish them.

Then I'd say he'd have zero ability to make any call on the matter.

The independence is generally questioned during an actual trial, not in the court of public opinion. Mr. Wells obviously isn't used to that, but that's what you have to face when you're doing a public report for the NFL. Wells came across as extremely defensive. I would have expected more professionalism.

Because that would not be in the best interests of his client.

I can't even believe this seriously happened. There were so many screw ups it's unbelievable... Then again, it is pretty consistent with how he actually wrote his report; full of mistake after mistake before ending with an unexpected conclusion.

you're being kind. I want his family to disown him and he gets deported to a slum in Baghdad

Nah, I don't wish him any serious ill-will. I just want him to give up the dirty laundry on Goodell and others in exchange for not being part of the mammoth defamation suit you know is coming. :D

People nationally may not think he is rattled. They will hold on the fact that he fearlessly asked yee to release the notes and that he even wouldve accepted brady's transcripts without the phone . Thats what people will kill brady on. Its not totally a bad PR job by them but the gauge comment and complaint not take seriously comment is not good.
Except Brady told him there was nothing to see and Wells did not believe him. How many times does Tommy have to say he didn't do anything

Because that would not be in the best interests of his client.

The NFL is stuck with the Wells report as written and cannot deviate from it, change it or introduce anything new. They live or die by this steaming pile of crap. Wells is taking heat because everyone who looks at it laughs. He set the NFL up to not only fail in court but to be humiliated.
