Here's what the piece of **** looks like for anyone that doesn't know:

I finally got curious about 10 minutes ago. My first reaction - used car salesman archetype.

I would like to hear from some law experts on this board about this call. Wells is so stupid to say all this. He must know what he is doing.

NAH NAH NAH NAH

NAH NAH NAH NAH

HEY HEY HEY

GOOD BYE!

GOODELL IS DONNNNNNNNNNNNE

Far from it, this is the first minutes of the first quarter, it is going to take long term pressure to get that done.

As Jimmy V once said " DON'T GIVE UP, DON'T EVER GIVE UP"

Stay focused upon the THE UNETHICAL ADVENTURES OF TED AND ROGER

Wells said in his media conference call twice that no one took the initial pre-game complaint/concern from the #colts seriously bc there was no hard evidence

@AndyJohnson reminded me of this nugget from the report

Shortly after receiving Grigson‟s email, Gardi sent an email in response stating that Kensil would be at the game and would speak with the game officials about Grigson‟s concerns. Kensil forwarded Grigson‟s email without comment to James Daniel, Director of Game Operations at the NFL, who in turn forwarded it to other Game Operations personnel who would be at the game as an “FYI.” Kensil also forwarded Grigson‟s email to Dean Blandino and Alberto Riveron, both senior members of the NFL Officiating Department, with the message “see below.” Both Riveron and Blandino decided that they would raise the issue with Walt Anderson, who had been assigned as the referee for the game

Then why were why were Daniel, Blandino and Riveron notified of it who then told the game officials about it?

If you want to be really depressed, recognize that is actually a really smart guy who is doing exactly what he was told. And that blatant chicanery like this goes unnoticed 99% of the time, because it concerns a subject that people care a whole lot less about than football.

I have no doubt he is doing what he is being told. But he is not doing it very well at all. He is not a smart guy at all. Not in the slightest.

I have an academic background in mathematics and was enrolled in a PhD at one point (though didn't complete it.) I was surrounded by brilliant individuals who were actually capable of reasoning and applying logic to their arguments. I'm not one to bow down to some fool just because he attended f&cking law school.

Fiery Ted Wells: "Discussion that [NFL] wanted to put some type of hit on most popular, iconic player...it's really a ridiculous allegation"

There is a very easy explanation for this.
Goodell has been under fire for his discipline on Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson and Greg Hardy.
What better way to take pressure off than to go after and make an example out of the All american hero and White boy Tom Brady.
If you were searching for a target to justify your other actions, you would probably chose Brady in about 3 seconds.

If nobody took it seriously then the league had no probable cause to initiate this nonsense, which leaves them open to Malicious use of process.

If Ted Wells is lying, his "report" gets thrown out by a court.

He's dropped a huge clanger.

I am shocked that Wells did this conference call.

He hurt himself and the league immeasurably by what he said today. Bad move. I'm frankly surprised.

The cheering you hear is coming from Foxboro today.

At face value it might appear to be the case, however, this so much more about the after conversation and how much the media pursues it. If leading media outlets say "Wells defends character in fiery PC that enunciates the evidence of Brady's guilt", from a PR side Wells is good to go. However, if the media picks up on these glaring items to say 'ummm, WTf is going on here?" then you are correct.

As the Zen master said "we'll see".

The wheels on Ted and Goody's bus are falling off..........

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...rs-say-it-doesnt-matter-which-gauge-was-used/

"
On the key question of which gauge was usedby referee Walt Anderson to test the PSI levels of the footballs used in the AFC Championship Game, Deflategate investigator Ted Wells punted.

Instead, on a conference call today, Wells turned that question over to his partner, Lorin Reisner. And Reisner then claimed that it doesn’t matter.

“The question of which gauge was used by Walt Anderson before the game — it just doesn’t effect any of the ultimate conclusions,” Reisner said. “The difference in the pressure drops between the two teams was found to be statistically significant regardless of the gauge used.”

But why, when Anderson says his best recollection is that he used a gauge with a Wilson logo on it, does the Deflategate report conclude that Anderson actually used a different gauge?

“It really doesn’t matter because regardless of which gauges were used, the scientific consultants addressed all the permutations in the analysis,” Reisner said.

That’s an odd answer. The two gauges that were used to measure the PSI levels of the footballs on that Sunday in January came up with different measurements, and it’s necessary to know the precise PSI levels of the footballs to know whether there was a rules violation at all. Determining which pressure gauge Anderson used seems important, and that’s a determination the investigators weren’t able to make."

Lmfao, this is going swimmingly. Don Yee smoked Wells out and scared him into having a conference call to "clear his name", in which he proceeds to give up attorney-client privilege, tell a bold-faced lie about the wrong gauge "not affecting the science", and show that he didn't even take the sting stuff seriously.

Don Yee says "thanks Teddy!"

Rich Hill also stating Wells was being coached

http://www.patspulpit.com/2015/5/12/8594489/deflategate-notes-from-ted-wells-press-conference
Wells was being coached through the call by his teammates, as listeners heard someone in the room tell Wells to discuss the Patriots "lack of cooperation." Wells went on to say that he never asked to take Brady's phone, and would have accepted print outs of the conversation and accepted them as fact. He noted that the text exchanges are "not circumstantial evidence. That is two participants in the scheme discussing what is taking place." Wells challenged Yee to release his notes from the meeting.

(previously posted, but in interest of keeping it all together)

Matt Perrault @sportstalkmatt
We taped the call ... There is someone feeding lines to Wells. Audio coming in a sec ... This thing keeps getting better

Mark Daniels @MarkDanielsPJ
Anyone else on this call hear someone tell Wells to say "lack of cooperation?" Is he getting coached right now?

Doug Kyed @DougKyedNESN
Yes. I heard that.

Wells is just not a bright guy. This is clearly evident to anyone with a brain at this point.

Goodell did a poor job of selecting someone to put out a hit on Brady. He could have chosen someone much better. Although good thing for us, and Brady, that he did not.

I'm more offended that my intelligence is being insulted at this point.

I have no doubt he is doing what he is being told. But he is not doing it very well at all. He is not a smart guy at all. Not in the slightest.

You were enrolled? So you mean, well you weren't smart enough to complete it right? How dare you question my report and my coached phone interview! My logic is impeccable. I am beyond reproach and everything I said is not my opinion and is that of the NFL.

Sincerely

Ted Wells
