You guys are all crying about the wrong stuff and blaming the wrong people. Messing with the balls is not a big deal. If the Pats and Brady just copped to it right off the bat, it would have been a slap on the wrist. But because you guys decided to stonewall and lie about it you forced Goodell's hand. Most of this wound is self-inflicted.

I really don't understand how or why everybody is completely convinced they're lying. Never have they lied before and the NFL has 0 credibility post Ray Rice fiasco but now they have complete public confidence again.

You assume Brady is lying. Since he has no history of lying I assuming he's telling the truth. Why should he, or anyone, cop to something they aren't guilty of?

They can't confess to something they didn't do. Really quite simple. And nothing in the Wells report indicates there was any collusion on Brady's part to have the equipment staff deflate the footballs below the minimally allowed pressure.

More probably than not, you didn't read the report. And, more probably than not, you're basing your opinion on the sock puppet sports media. That's your right, of course, it's a free country. Still doesn't mean it's not 'short sighted' to do so.

You obviously didn't read the report or lack basic reading comprehension skills. Brady called Jastremski, not bird. Jastremski called bird.

Talking about how Brady likes his balls done does not automatically equate to Brady knowing precisely who handles the game balls and when?

And there are no physical communication links between Brady and McNally in the Wells report.

I honestly believe Tom is innocnet here. Yes there are some angles of the report that point the finger whole heartetly at Brady but I think this has been one huge mess from start to finish.

Goodell and the other people running the league are idiots, they have proved it in the past and have reconfirmed it with this car crash of an investigation.

listen guys, weve had spygate and now deflategate but the only thing this is all about is (in Tom Brady Sr's words) Framegate. The Patriots are to successful and Tom Brady to good to be allowed to carry on so they have to be discredited in any way possible. I hope to god the guys win this years superbowl and really stick it to Goodell and the league. That would be the best way of saying "you can fine us and you can suspend us but we are the best and no matter what you throw at us we are going to stay that way".
