Just so u guys know, the Pats CAN appeal the fine and draft picks, and are expected to do so. I agree the levy of the fines and picks are meant as a giant FU by Goodell to the Pats

Looks like that's not true.

Kraft needs to come up with a legal theory that NE has been damaged in ways that relate to claims that are unwaiveable by contract (even if the contract says you waived them -- courts will not enforce contract terms that are either statutorially-prohibited or that case law built up over time say are against "public policy").

Also Brady has until 5pm on Thursday to appeal (which Hus agent Don't yee has already stated he will). The league would then have 5 days to coordinate who will hear the appeal and set a date

trump defending brady.

apparently, tb12/trump are good friends.
even play golf together

This is a bit of a surprise. Ted Wells, of the Ted Wells Report, will be on a media conference call at 2pm ET. Imagine some interest in this

So this assh*le is gonna gloat to the media now?

god damn do I want someone to just hit him with "How come you disregarded the science and also decided that Walt Anderson didn't use the gauge he said he did." And "Are you ready to have your credibility shredded apart?"

But i'm sure the NFL will only allow NFL friendly media to get questions in.

Why The **** has no one in the media challenged the INCORRECT statements people keeping throwing around that "Of course they deflated", "of course they cheated", "The balls were under 12.5... they cheated", etc etc etc. It's called the ****ing IDEAL GAS LAW, morons. Exponent even admitted the balls were exactly where they should be due to drop in temperature. There was NO proof of tampering WHAT SO EVER!!! It is NOT a fact. **** everyone.

This trailer is basically the "deflategate" situation if it was medevil

The team declined to make Jim McNally, who had been interviewed multiple times during the process by league officials and by Ted Wells, available for a follow-up interview. As explained at page 87 of the report, Wells wanted to ask McNally specifically about a text message he sent to John Jastremski at or around halftime of New England’s game against the Packers at Lambeau Field on November 30, 2014: “Deflate and give somebody that jkt.”

Because McNally worked for the Patriots only at home games, he wasn’t in Green Bay for the game against the Packers. But the comment possibly relates to deflation activities in which McNally was involved during games played at Gillette Stadium. Ultimately, no further light was shed on the message because McNally wasn’t made available for another interview.

Per a league source, McNally was willing to be questioned again by phone, but the NFL declined the offer. For a variety of reasons — including the fact that he’d been ambushed at his home by ESPN’s Kelly Naqi based on a perceived leak from her husband, a former league-office employee who now works for the Jaguars — McNally didn’t want to submit to yet another face-to-face interview.

The failure to cooperate also makes it easier for the jurors in the court of public opinion to conclude that something unsavory occurred. Whatever the justifications at the time cooperation is refused, the perception once the dust settles is that someone who refuses to cooperate has something to hide.

Wells' claim about Brady, on his phone conference this afternoon:

“Mr. Brady, the report sets forth, he came to the interview, he answered every question, he did not refuse to answer any questions in terms of the back and forth between Mr. Brady and my team — he was totally cooperative,” Wells said. “At the same time, he refused to permit us to review electronic data from his telephone or other instruments. Most of the key evidence in this case as in most cases comes from people’s cell phones and he refused to let us review the phone. And I want to be crystal clear, I told Mr. Brady and his agents I was willing to not take possession of the phone, I don’t want to see any private communications, I said, ‘You keep the phone, you give me documents that are responsive to this investigation and I will take your word for it’ and they still refused.”

I await Yee's response to this.

Wells didn't take the word of any Patriot he interviewed. He never addressed the leaks to the media. At every turn, what ever piece of evidence no matter how thin he chose as an 'independent' investigator to portray NE in the worst possible light. Nor do we know what "Responsive to this investigation" entails, exactly.

Making a guess but I wager Yee didn't trust Mr. Wells.

ESPN paid stooge and a former jills player.

He cries about the integrity of the game and then says this was worse than taking PEDS because it gave Brady an advantage over other teams. Which that advantage argument is proven to be 100% false, Brady practically the same on the road as he is at home. Patriots don't touch the balls after the refs check them during away games.

Then you have how he was subpar in the first half of the AFCC games, refs filled the balls to regulation and he shredded them.

Then there was the SB where the balls were closely guarded and he put on a clinic against Seattle.

print outs...sounds like no big deal.

not making mcnally available looks bad. so much of this could of been avoided.

Please don't confuse the masses with facts. They can't understand

Weakest excuse ever. My kids would never have tried something that lame.
