Robert Kraft sends powerful message by changing official Facebook page to this....

Obviously I'm glad to see the Patriots seem to be totally backing Brady, but let's not frame it like Kraft personally mans the facebook page.

As long as he doesn't order it changed back, I'm fine with it, even if this was some employee getting out ahead of him and backing him into the corner of having to do the right thing.

What's more -- I'm guessing that before this happened, it was OKed by somebody pretty senior, either a Kraft or someone with well-founded confidence that the Krafts would approve.

I changed my FB avatar to the same pic 2 days ago, same time as I set it for mine here on PatsFans. I also got a nice Patriots screen saver image to use for the header image on my FB page.

The more people that do this, the more media exposure it gets, because every single person who views your FB page sees that jersey and knows where you stand.

wow what a hero, he changed the FB page.

krafts still a spineless jellyfish until further notice

Let me ask you; what has Brady done to date?

We get it, you hate Kraft.

I'm sure the two innocent people he fired are comforted by this symbolic gesture by his PR lackey.

They are indefinitely suspended, not fired.

Kudos to Edelman for being ahead of the curve on this.

Can't help wondering if Kraft would have reacted this way over the suspension alone; as an owner, $1 million and those two draft picks are pretty major. We'll never know. Either way, in the words of Victor Laszlo, "welcome back to the fight. This time I am sure our side will win." (Well, OK, maybe not so sure about the latter part, but you gotta go in fighting).

ok kraft toadie.

You could not answer the question as to what tom Brady has done to date that Kraft hasn't done.

So you name-called.

People can see you for what you are without me calling you a name.

As a fan, I could care less about him having to pay out $1 million. I care somewhat about the 4 games for Brady, but feel the Pats still win the division even with that (and would be a stronger team long term for having sone so).

The 1st and 4th rounder loss is the spike to the brain.

Kraft's actions were highly questionable and disappointing up until the statement he released yesterday which is now rumored to mean he will attack this issue and Goodell.
My opinion yesterday of Kraft was enormously negative, but now I am hopeful the slap in the face and embarrassment dealt to his franchise and his meal ticket has reversed his course on this.
Brady has announced through his agent that he finds the entire investigation and penalty ridiculous and is appealing. That is all he should do.

You don't care that the face of the franchise, and the GOAT has been inappropriately branded a liar and cheater and for the rest of ever any discussion about him will include that he cheated and the proof is he was suspended for it?
Not me. I would rather have Brady cleared and lose the picks, if there is a choice.

and

"Brady has announced through his agent that he finds the entire investigation and penalty ridiculous and is appealing. That is all he should do."

Both of those things happened within hours of each other.

Brady's announcement of intention to appeal came the very same evening as Kraft's statement yesterday.

Except Kraft said nothing about appealing.

Brady's announcement of intention to appeal came the very same evening as Kraft's statement yesterday.

Also, Brady did not announce publicly that he accepted the Wells report findings and would accept any penalty assessed. Big difference.

I am still at loss trying to comprehend why Kraft would admit in his prior PR that we would accept the disciplinary action. I literally flung my book at my TV when I saw that. He should have stopped right after the first few sentences when he denounced the report.

Oh well, I hope - nay pray - that we do not take this lying down as we did in Camera-gate.

He trusted to league to make a rational decision. or maybe he was daring them to make an irrational one. AT least now he can say he tried to go along.
