In what world do we live in where the Wells report, the one used as sole evidence for bradys suspension, exonerated the patriots, kraft and belechick 100% and yet the pats not only lose a 1st but also a 4th round pick.

It's god damn insane. When players are popped for 4 roids, they get 4 games, but do the teams get penalized? No, in fact perhaps that should be the new standard, the more roids cases per team should now equal as repeat offenders as APPARENTLY the team can be held accountable for something THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH.

Regardless of what you feel about how the brady thing went down, it can't be ignored that his team is being punished for something he alone did.

That is literally unheard of.

Honestly I am more upset about the picks. Worst case, Jimmy can win at least a couple games if not all of them. Best case, the suspension is overturned. But how the hell do we get our picks back? This is outrageous.

I read something from the NFL that the precedent of Spygate caused the NFL's penalty to be so severe. How about the precedent of the Jets repeatedly tampering? Woody Johnson was specifically warned about tampering (I believe in the Percy Harvin case). Not only did precedent not matter for the Jets, they received much less of a penalty than other teams had in the past.

you can appeal the picks, but the appeal will likely be heard by goodell or one of his underlings.

make no mistake - they couldn't nail belichick so they got him where it hurts the most.
