I highly doubt season ticket holders are going to not use their tickets and the building would be empty. One concern is if they sell their tickets and with how the Steelers fans travel it could end up being a road game opening night. I do wonder what percentage of fans won't renew their season tickets based upon Kraft's next move. I also wonder if people on the waiting list who have waited for years will take them or not. I wouldn't but that's me. Please don't stub hub your tickets. Find a Pats fan or give them to a local charity.

For opening night:

1. Don't buy a single concession at the game. Do not buy anything at a Patriot's Place merchant.

2. Do not attend any of the NFL opening night festivities. They love to show the concert before the game packed with fans enjoying "the NFL experience". We'll I for one am not enjoying this experience. Let the NFL broadcast the empty scene from outside.

3. I highly doubt Tsar Roger or Kensil have the balls to attend but the fans should make them really uncomfortable. I'm not advocating throwing batteries at them or something else Jets-fan-esque but intimidation can be just as effective. Chant BS all night. Roger Sucks. Witch Hunt. Whatever.

For the future.

1. Drop NFLN, Sunday Ticket, Red Zone. If you can't because it's tied into all the good packages contact your provider and ask them to add a non NFLN package. If they get enough requests maybe it will make a difference. If you're stuck with NFLN don't watch it, ever.

2. Most fans aren't going to quit the NFL cold turkey but only watch the Patriots. Don't give them an extra dime of revenue.

3. Don't watch any NFL related shows on any network. Don't go to NFL.com, ESPN, PFT or any site gaining revenue from this story. They love the cash windfall.

4. Avoid Patriots place and it's merchants.

5. Don't buy from NFL partners if you can avoid it. Obviously people aren't going to stop using Visa, Youtube or CBS but I can easily choose Powerade over Gatorade. Companies like Gatorade have contact buttons on their websites. If you have the time click on one and let them know you're unfortunately no longer be using them because of their affiliation with the NFL and the NFL's unfair practices. Drop in the bucket I know but if there's enough of them.

6. Don't travel. I know people love this but don't give the NFL an extra dime.

The Team.

1. I would refuse to raise the banner which has been well stated around here. Kraft will never do it but the pirate flag and #12 are great ideas.

2. Every single week bar none I would accuse the other team of cheating. In Indy I would have a tech crew setup to invade their PA box and test for piped in noise. Make it the farce that it is.

3. The entire team refuses all interviews all year. In the broadcast meetings when asked questions all they say is "we're onto <insert team name here>" for an answer. This would include the other team's media calls on Wednesdays, Broadcast team's interviews, etc. The front office should do the same but won't.

4. Run up the score even worse.

5. Kraft should start to pressure league office changes. I hate to say it but his best shot at allies are Jones and Snyder. They still hate Goodell for punishing them for the "uncapped year" penalties. Another sign of the NFLPA's ineptitude. Until the Jet presence is gone this will continue.

6. Shove the last SB title down everybody's throats. I would put that Lombardi on the field at every game home and away as a giant FU we still won.

I understand your anger and frustration, but some of the things you propose would damage the franchise. There are plenty of outsiders willingly eager to do that. I'm not joining them.

It's fair enough to disagree on things that will impact the Patriots bottom line. IMO if Kraft is towing the company line he gets the same treatment as the mother company. But to each his/her own.

If Kraft sees the fans are angry enough then that can only be a good thing.

I can definitely see the team making sure all footballs by opponent teams were "legal" pressure.

If this thing doesn't blow over, the penalties stick, there no reduction, and Pats fans are still a fiery, incensed mob I could totally see Krafty Bob making a statement prior to the opening game telling the fans to "conduct themselves with class" or something....F Kraft....he's just going to take this up the arse....
I get the feeling Krafty likes being a member of the billionaire boys club too much to rock the boat...although Krafty's sitting at the table, the other owners ridicule him....

I called Direct TV and cancelled my NFL Sunday ticket. It's a little thing, but to tell the truth, i didn't JUST do it to make a statement.

I did it because I really Just. Don't. Care.

If Brady retired and sued the league for 200 million for defamation, I'd be psyched.

The league took something I shared with son, who lives in California, and shat all over it. Text from him last night: I don't want to talk about it. I am done with the NFL.

I know my son and know that he's not kidding, won't change his mind and is already on to other things. So I lost that part of my connection, with him and with my grandson, who's 5 and rocks a Gronk shirt like no other. Yesterday, the NFL took away something I care about...I can't quit cold turkey, but I've already informed all the friends who have season tickets (I have Sox tix and we share back and forth) that I will NOT be going to Gillette again. Every one of them agreed, including the guy who has had premium seats since the 1980's (and with whom I've gone to two Superbowls on hugely expensive packages).

I submitted the below to Gatorade and will do so to other vendors when I have time.

I regret to inform you I will no longer be purchasing any of your products due to your affiliation with the NFL and their unfair practices in how league punishments are handed down. Two games for knocking your fiancee out and yet 4 games for more likely than not having knowledge about deflating a football. I will not buy any NFL products or products from their partners going forward.

I am going to write to each of these sponsors too. I don't actually buy things from most of them but they don't need to know that.

That itch comes back though.. and people love to buy ****..

I don't have season tickets, and I don't buy fan gear anyway.. and I usually only watch pats games... so for me it is a piece of cake...

calculate me in.....

Here's a list of the big sponsors. http://www.sponsorship.com/IEGSR/2014/01/27/NFL-Sponsorship-Revenue-Totals-$1-07-Billion-In-20.aspx

Coors, Anheuser Busch, Ford, Toyota, Pepsi, Coke, Verizon, TicketMaster, Comcast, Primesport, Gatorade, Papa John's, Campbell Soup, Fedex, Fritolay, Bose, McDonalds, Microsoft and others. Take the time to contact at least one to say you won't even consider them for a future purchase.

After the Ray Rice nonsense, a friend of mine wanted to start a campaign of buying Miller beer & then film himself dumping it out while explaining to the NFL he'd rather waste money on a non-NFL sponsor than give one red cent to Coors or A.B.

Kraft has for years said he is a fan. It is time for him to act like one instead of just chasing the dollars as a businessman. I love the Patriots now but this is because of Belichick and then Brady for me. They are special. Kraft is a good owner businessman but unless he shows me something here, my love of the Patriots may fade when Bill and Tom walk away which could be as soon as the end of this year.

I have sent the below to Campbell's and a similar email to Gillette, Anheuser-Busch, and McDonalds so far.

Because of the penalty the NFL placed on the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, I am boycotting all NFL sponsors and advertisers. I have been a loyal customer of yours for decades, but will not purchase anything from Campbell’s or any of the brands you own until either (1) Roger Goodell is fired and all penalties against the Patriots and Brady are reversed, or (2) you cease advertising/sponsoring the NFL.

How about black armbands with "Goodell Sucks"......

Set up a picket line on Fifth Avenue, outside of the NFL offices..

Newby Volin will never be clicked as long as I have fingers and eyes.

Felger is already on the banned click list and has been for some time now.

It's laughable when Shaughnessy tries to write about football and even though he is good for a laugh of how crap his writing is, no more clicks.

Borges, need not be addressed. Capitol P and a real cheater.

1) everyone should support the No 12 No banner effort.

2) Boycott all NFL merchandize.

3) Don't listen to Felger and his turd buddy, if ever Patriot fan actually did this instead of giving them ratings or would make a real difference in their ratings.

4) Call your Senators and reps in congress demanding an end to the NFL anti trust exemption. ( I realize it will end the draft but too bad, it will screw the league and they deserve it. )

5) Leave the kids at home for the opener and allow a sold out stadium to chant (F.CK YOU ROGER, F.CK YOU ROGER........) for 3 hours plus.

6) Call the Patriots and tell them to Hire Carl Lewis to sing the national anthem.

7) Make your own F.CK YOU ROGER hats and t shirts at home and wear them to the game, they can't throw 60_000 people out.

8) Call NOW and advocates against domestic violence and remind them Ray Rice got two games for cold ****ing his fiance and Brady four games because he may have been generally aware that someone may or may not have done something wrong........

9) Call the NFL league office and tell them to go f.ck themselves. I think I will do this one right now.

I dont understand why women all over the country arent foaming at the mouth about the league considering this joke far worse a crime than physically assaulting a woman. Isnt the whole problem that the abuse women take isnt taken serious. The largest sporting leauge in the world just basicly came out and said it really isnt a big deal.

Seems reasonable to expect...
