Would love to see some support from other QBs... I hope that Tom is at least getting more support privately.
That would be nice, but I'd be angrier in some ways if the privately thing were true. He needs public support from those with the nuts to do it.

What did Peterson say? I just saw a tweet that said "well done NFL" or something.

From the looks of it, Peterson's biggest problem is literacy

The scarcity of supportive tweets from other players is disappointing but not surprising. For the most part humans are jealous and petty.

On the topic of social media, it is extremely irritating to have to read Ben Volin's mindless tweets on the sidebar here. Does anyone else support Ian removing "Ron Borges lite" from the list of tweeters?

I use Opera and that tweet app doesn't work, so I am spared Vobin's stupidity. Just an option. And Yes, Ian should remove him from the feed.

I second that. Ian, is it possible to remove certain names? Borges and Tanguay are a start.

It's interesting that there's not a ton of support for Brady when you consider all of the current & former players in the league. Christ, I think Adrian Peterson got more support on social media than has Brady. Sure, a couple of teammates & Kaepernick have chimed in, but no P Manning, no big name "stars"....the amount of hate around the league for Brady and the Pats is simply incredible...the only other comparison in terms of success is Montana & SF and they were no where near as despised nationally as the Pats...it's really disconcerting how success (and a coach's media relations) can build so much hate and contempt...it's a pretty pathetic commentary on our society....

Keep in mind that the Manning Brothers have a Dad who pretty much ran the competition committee that changed the rules about touching receivers after the Patriots abused the Colts...

I think maybe the ONLY way us pats fans are being homers through this whole thing is... I don't think others love Brady as much as we do. That includes other players. I hear really really cautious stories sometimes out of training camp from newcomers saying "man this dude is always on me" and stuff like that. Defensive players saying Brady dishes out the smack harder than anyone they have ever met. Same with those on the other team. He appears to really get under peoples skin sometimes. Thats IF, IF they are not confident in themselves. Then there always appears to be a mutual respect (ugh, R. Lewis).

As far as the public, I think most outside of NE have no love for Brady, outside of women. I know here in Ohio nobody thinks hes all that. A lot of respect for his game, but nobody cares that this has befallen him.

These are the chumps that took LeBron back, remember.... haha.

Somehow, I don't foresee Revis showing Brady the same kind of respect, even though Revis got burned badly for TDs in both the Divisional game and the SB, and Brady is the reason he has his only ring.

Come on now, don't be silly, Revis played out of his mind great all year long. The TD in the SB was a play that he got picked by the ref, and the ONLY completion he allowed.

He didn't play that well in the playoffs. Had some trouble early on in the Ravens game, and Baldwin had him beat a few times in the SB, but RW just simply failed to recognize it and get it to him.
