I guess we have a different view of trolling. Over on Jet boards we have Patriot fans with thousands of posts who are always part of the discussion even if they ruffle some feathers. Didn't realize you were such a sensitive person though. To you I apologize

You're a troll. It's what you are. And I'm considered among the most insensitive bastards around here, because I just don't care. Post all the crap you want. I can put you on ignore if you get any more boring than you already are. I point out the trolls for others.

Hell, as the regulars around here could tell you, I enjoy a good troll. You just suck.

Jet fans are normally mongoloids in the DEVO sense of the word....

Jet fans on Patsfans.com are SUB-MONGOLOIDS...which means they have zero ability to hide out in plain sight....

Me and you are in the minority here...my friends and coworkers are like me..will still watch all they can.

It'd be a shame if the fans on this site stop watching the Pats/NFL. We have some damn good fans here and while I don't always post, I read most everything on here. I'd hate to have this caliber of an online community decay over this.

no matter how this turns out im done. the only games im watching are patriots games. i already dumped the nfl network and i wont be playing anymore fantasy football either.. the league is run like a kindergarten. i knew the league was going down the wrong path years ago but had know idea it would decay as fast as it has. its such a pathetic league now i cant justify wasting any time on it except watching pats games.

This is not the NFL I started watching in the 1970's. This is a horseshit league that's as low as the WWE in terms of integrity of the "sport".

When your league office is a joke, your league is a joke.

Coupla Jet fans arguing over Deflategate..............

I can completely understand your cohort's feelings on the matter. I started watching the NFL when I was a kid in the late 90s, so this is my NFL. I just can't imagine not watching it. Everyone has their breaking point, and as heinous as this is for Patriots nation, I just can't give it up yet.

I'll watch them on network tv but I'll never go to a game or spend a dime on anything nfl related until both goodell AND kraft are gone.

I'll stay through Brady, as he's deserving of my respect and cheers, even if he is guilty of this ridiculously overhyped 'offense'. After that, I'll step away if Goodell's not gone. I'd rather keep my self respect than give it away just to watch a sports league I'm not even involved in.

How much your self-respect is worth is for you to decide.

Hey man, I respect your decision on that. It's different for everyone. I think a lot of younger fans, like myself, just simply can't let it go just yet. I've had a blast rooting for the Pats since I've been a fan. I thoroughly enjoy doing nothing but watching football all day on Sundays, and I'm not ready for that to end. The NFL is a dynamic league. Goodell won't last forever.

I will cancel NFL ticket by next week. I think I have had it for 9 years. No more games. I travel to at least 2 games per season, the NFL can kiss my ass. Hundreds on merchandise every year. I will not purchase another piece of logo gear. I am done supporting this league. I will take my savings and go on a nice vacation. I am just in utter disbelief that this horse chit has come down to this. It's just not worth it to me anymore.

I actually would like some guidance by some insider on how to effectively make a meaningful protest against the league for this non-sense. I am skeptical that there is one and can't help but feel that not watching is my only remedy (and my sanity may very well depend on it). Why on Earth would I continue to support this highly dysfunctional league that seem fixated on hurting the only team I care about? If I walk away now, at least I leave with many happy memories from following this team.

It strikes me as odd how many people (even fans of rival teams) are commenting to me how incredibly stupid this all is but the way the media is covering this it sounds like everyone outside of New England is having a field day. It's just hard to gauge (no pun intended) how most people in the country really view this.

Look, I know that "The common man's a fool" and everything but it's astounding just how petty and twisted all these jealous "superfans" and some rival players sound when chiming in on this. It goes beyond just football, I think there's something really, really, really wrong with this country culturally.

I guess the ultimate moral of the story is: jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins for a reason.

Sorry for rambling. I'm just getting a grip on the prospect of a world with no football.

Honestly, at this point I'm more interested to see how Brady and co. will fight back, and hopefully do as much damage to this garbage league in the process, rather than watch any more football games. I got to see #4, at this point I'd rather just spend my Sundays more usefully. Of course, if the Patriots go on a tear I'll be paying attention. But I don't think I'm gonna spend all afternoon watching Chiefs-Raiders anymore.

Wait
Give them a reasonable time period to fix what's broken
If they don't fix it, walk away

NFL Football is nothing but time wasted in front of a television. I'm not saying that's bad, but it's unimportant in the scheme of things. There are plenty of other ways to spend your time.

The game on the field is now just a fraction of the entertainment experience... For whatever that's worth. If you're not interested in fantasy leagues or fake drama the NFL isn't for you.

Watching the Patriots until BB and/or Brady are gone. Will evaluate that based on how Kraft handles this current miscarriage and how the league evolves.

not an insider, but you could get a catchy domain name and start a site.
put a board on there, list sponsors to boycott, etc

link it on every pats site, get it twittered, myfaced, etc
