Very understandable. You've been a Pats fan for upwards of 40 years and waited for the Pats to make something of themselves. When the team finally blossoms into something great a bunch of corrupt assholes take it away and our owner fails to step it up. Yes I saw his statement...he has not yet proved that he will stick up for his guys whatever he says publically.

His statement is actually quite strong. I don't know what he's going to do, but his statement itself (you have to read every word) is "Boardroom" talk for "All hell is going to break loose."

God, I forgot how awesome that 3 and 14 play was in the SB. If they aren't gonna back down from that play and that hit in that spot. This current situation should only strengthen their resolve. Can't wait....

I still can't believe the amount of victimization of the Patriots in here. Well...actually I suppose I can since its PatsFans.com

But come on guys - you guys cheated and got caught. Everyone who wasn't a Patriots fan saw this punishment coming, unfortunately you guys have been spending too much time saying that the NFL is out to get you (not sure where that's coming from, your owner and the commish were best friends before this incident) rather than realizing that your team broke the rules and got caught red handed.

Color me stupid on this one, but, since one of the reasons for the harsh punishment(i would use stronger words but the mods might frown) upon), is "repeat" offender and Cameragate was brought up, is it possible that, in case of a lawsuit, an investigation is open on how fair that was!!??

In my twisted, dark fantasy world:

Aaron Hernandez escapes prison, runs to Gillette stadium, sees Tom Brady's helicopter, steals it, flies to NY and hunts down Roger Goodell (who just happens to be accompanied by Jim Irsay and Ryan Grigson), ties them up, tattoos Patriot logos on their foreheads, literally deflates their balls, which caused them to die of shock. Upon this happening, the devil appears and tells Hernandez he can bring back the lives of the previous 3 innocent people he killed from 2012-2013 if he will offer himself for death. Hernandez makes the deal and dies as a low-key Patriot legend.
