The Axe has fallen. Brady has been suspended for four games

Get out of here. Go back to that cesspool GangGreen and celebrate about a suspension because your rat team is too pathetic to give you anything to celebrate about.

Come on. Empathize a little. He's a Jets fan. This is his Super Bowl.

Did you watch the video? Curran specifically says that when Belichick leaves, it will be because of Park Avenue, not because he's too old for the game or doesn't love it anymore.

I don't think it'll be about this, specifically, but at some point he'll get tired of the bulls—.

[QUOTE="Deus Irae, post: 4205754, member: 5686"]You decided to lose your account over this?

How pathetic your life must be.

I don't see where you're coming from?

Denial is the first stage of grief.

Douchebaggery is the first stage of being a loser....congrats on your ascension.

Thanks, buddy....THAT will be printed on 5000 flyers I intend to pass out before game one in all the parking lots and inside the Razor. I was only going to spring for 30 K flyers but a good buddy in the printing biz has offered me a half price deal...I'm thinking 50,000 sheets with the most vicious, over the top insults of Goodell and his cronies as legally possible.

I'll need volunteers as the game approaches. There is nothing illegal about handing out circulars so don't worry.

Paper airplanes onto the field. Goodell sucks chants...gears are grinding

The 1 million is the least significant part of this entire fine....

While I don't necessarily disagree, I was mainly just expressing my disbelief that the NFL fined the Patriots 1 million (most in league history) when the Wells investigation cited that the Patriots as an organization had no part in this whole mess.

This whole thing is just ****ing ridiculous.

I haven't been around for a while so I haven't exactly followed this.

But how did the referees not notice this while in game? These guys handle thousands of balls every year, I'm sure if something was up there would have noticed right away. Sounds like BS to me and the balls were fine.

Brady "not cooperating" is the main reason for over-punishing.

Reminds me of Al Capone.

The government couldn't get him on Murder so they got him on Tax Evasion. Put him behind bars no matter what.

Make sure Brady is guilty no matter what.

F**K Goodell and the NFL. A 1st round pick, a 4th round pick AND 1 Million?? For no evidence of tampering at all??? I am so looking forward to Yee *****slapping Goodell, Vincent and the NFL in court.. And Kraft appealing it as well.. This is absurd.. Especially considering the fact that the Broncos and Jets didn't lose picks to tampering.. And tampering is far worse than the weather deflating the footballs.

I'd say 3 months.
its going to court after the appeal. count on it[it better]. something tells me that it will take longer for that process to sort its self out. i just hope they can take it to court get a decision before training camp or at least before the season starts. but i doubt it.

They will either get a speedy trial due to exigent circumstances, or there will be a stay issued against the suspension.

I was talking about the appeal only. You're right though. Going to court after the appeal will make it longer.

Don't remember. I know Vilma was on IR. I don't know if any players served but the ones who went to court did not.

they better take this to court. it will be embarassing for them and all of us if they dont.

Except that Brady DID cooperate other than giving over control of his phone.. He did show them the texts that they asked for Yee confirmed that..

I was out at a meeting all evening and literally just got the news.

The four game suspension was exactly what I thought it would be and I still expect that it will be overturned on appeal, perhaps all four games but at least two or maybe three. I'm not saying that it's fair, but it's what I expected.

What I didn't expect is that the blood lust of the other owners would be so great that Goodell would feel he had to build in some "insurance" in the form of Draft Picks and the fine.

This is corrupt.

If Kraft doesn't go postal on the League for this, I'm done with him and, once Brady and Belichick are out of the picture, might well be done with the team...and for someone with my screen name, that's saying something.

Don't forget that he can and will apply for an injunction (or restraining order) if necessary.

Labor arbitrators can usually award that.
