Coach Belichick: Please load up this offseason + crush the NFL
Patriots Nation is under attack

Is there any doubt at this point that the NFL is out to get coach Belichick and by extension Patriot Nation? It feels like the Patriots just got the electric chair for jaywalking...I'm not usually one for ridiculous conspiracy theories, but I for the first time feel that the NFL is truly out to get the Patriots.

The NFL CLEARLY ORCHESTRATED A STING OPERATION against the Patriots
and handed out the most ridiculous penalty in the history of professional sports for the simple reason that Belichick and Patriots don't bow at the alter of Roger Goodell.

To call this penalty (for something the NFL admits they have no definitive proof of) excessive is the understatement of the century... As a Patriots fan I seriously feel like I am under attack. All for what? Supposedly letting a little air out of a football in a game that they won by 38 points?...An infraction so minor that other NFL QB's (Aaron Rogers, Eli Manning) have openly admitted to doing the same exact thing.

How is it that Ray Rice got two games for knocking his fiancé out and that Greg Hardy is suiting up for the Cowboys this season despite the fact that he should be doing five to ten years in Dallas County Jail? On the flip side the Patriots lost a first round pick and Tom Brady for 1/4 of the season? You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that something doesn't add up here.

I hope that coach Belichick can find a way to load up and kick every team in the NFL's ass in 2015/2016. If I were Belichick I'd be on the phone right now trying to bring in studs by any means necessary to guarantee the Patriots have a return visit to the Super Bowl this season. There would be no better way to stick your finger in Emperor Goodell's face and disgrace the rest of the NFL that is unjustly trying to bring down the Patriots dynasty.

P.S. I'm not saying that Patriots are above the law. If they are truly guilty they should be penalized, but that penalty should be as minor as the infraction they are accused of.

Could this be the thing that sets him off?
I would love to see his reaction, would love for him to start revealing where all the bodies are buried, and I think the Patriots should lodge 31 complaints this year about rules violations by each other team, and let Wells write 31 more reports.

There are precedents for the penalty. Best example is probably the Chargers (2012) for their use of a stickum-type substance that gave their players a better chance to catch and grip footballs. Their cooperation was less than the Patriots exhibited in this fiasco, and their punishment was a $20,000 fine.

For a more recent comparison there is the case with the Atlanta Falcons piping in recorded crowd noise, to give their defense an advantage during home games. Their punishment was $350,000 and a 5th-round draft pick, though the advantage they gained was arguably more than that of a football allegedly being below a specific amounts of pounds per square inch.

The problem : this team gonna have hard time "as is". Haters will just pile on.

BB strikes me as someone who will not like the players taking this. He took the Spygate thing on his own shoulders.

He also strikes me as someone who will not parse words, or sugarcoat anything. And that may make this interesting.

i would absolutely tattle on every team in the league - make them hate us more.

The league is ****ing with BBs longest tenured player and his QB I feel that he could go nuclear

I said something similar in another post, but I think his years of silence have built up anticipation within the media for anything he has to say. They hung on his every word before the Super Bowl when he explained what a joke this was (surprise! temperature can decrease the PSI in a football). He can cash in this built-up anticipation again right now, after fostering it for all these years. Not sure if he's ever going to have a better use for it again.

I know he won't do it but I want him to tell JG to just take a knee on every play in the opening game.

In case anybody is unaware of the supposed context:
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...on-spikes-talib-allegations-against-patriots/
The involvement of the Patriots serves only to complicate matters for the league. As legend has it, the Spygate-related information given to the NFL by the Patriots that was destroyed by the league office consisted of evidence of cheating not only by the Patriots but also by multiple other teams in multiple other ways. As the folklore also goes, Patriots coach Bill Belichick vowed to go public with chapter-and-verse detail about cheating throughout the league if the league were to mess with the Patriots again.

To be clear, it’s not known that Belichick delivered to the league office proof of cheating by other teams, but that would help explain the league’s curious decision to quickly destroy the evidence. It’s also not known that Belichick threatened/promised to blow the whistle on league-wide cheating issues, but it would make plenty of sense for any team disciplined for violating the injury-reporting rules to be strongly tempted to point out that other teams routinely do the same things, or worse.

So yes. I'd say there's a chance. After all, the NFL didn't just mess with the Pats; they punished the Pats for Spygate a second time.

I expect Belichick to resign.

Most of the talk this far has bee about Krafts response but I'm much more interested in Bill's. Stepping to the podium and nailing his 31 Theses to the wall and submarining the NFLs "integrity of the game" rhetoric ******** would be great.

IF this suspension is allowed to stand then if BB has some nuclear option in mind for the NFL if they **** with his team again, now is obviously the time. But if you think you can get the suspension lifted do you take the other **** and wait it out? but if you wait for appeals and courts and lawyers that could be months down the road, at which point going that route might not have the same oomph.

It may just be the frustration but I'd love to see him call the press in tomorrow morning and firebomb the whole ****ing league. in BB i trust...

I expect Belichick to resign.
He would never do that lol, even less likely than Brady retiring (which is also almost impossible).

I respect BB's militant stoicism, but if he really does have a doomsday document, now is as good a time as ever to unpin that grenade.

I sure as hell don't expect much from Kraft, but if BB takes the bogus high-road again, I'm gonna be really pissed.

Unlike the fans, I doubt Belichick is hysterical over this. On to Pittsburgh? Belichick will just play football with Cassel, Garrapolo, or whoever.

Plus, I think there is the distinct possibility that Kraft and Belichick feel as though they were lied to by Brady. If you believe Brady, you don't suspend the ball boys.

Typically the old school guys like Bill don't dime on other coaches, like an unwritten rule of sorts. Brady will file a lawsuit and either win or lose. The draft picks are etched in stone, they're gone. I pray Brady wins and salvages the parts of his legacy he can.

I think Brady will also retire, although he may wait 'til after the appeal process.

Neither Brady nor Belichick need the money. When the NFL stops being fun, they'll get out.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Kraft puts the team up for sale and cashes out.

I am expecting something similar to this
