The Axe has fallen. Brady has been suspended for four games

Yes the patriots should be punished if they broke the rules. However losing a first, and a fourth round pick is too severe/harsh. The NFL ,and Roger Goodell went too far. Even the 4 games is a little bit excessive.

It's not a little bit excessive. It's incredibly excessive when your case is based entirely on assumptions.

Doty is going to f*cking scath the NFL on this.
I hope so. I always fear the worst with everyone out to get this team.

I can only hope that there are enough Patriot fans and people who actually care about truth and fair play who are absolutely disgusted by this and will demand that the NFL be held accountable for this travesty.
Wishful thinking majority of fans outside the Patriots fan base and rational fans here and there believe that the Patriots got an easy punishment they literally want Brady banned

Saying if the Goodell decides to let a truly neutral arbitor head up the appeal hearing (which is unlikely).
I hope he doesnt mean that if the aribitrator decides otherwise it means he isnt neutral and they give. I hope they fight this even if arbitration doesnt go their way .

The rest of the NFL got jealous. They didn't want to see us winning with such relative ease for so long.

The reason they try to take Brady from us is because they are afraid.

They fear what they cannot control.

When all is said and done at the end of the year, we will be in position to make another SB run I guarantee you that now. The silver lining from this is that there will be no SB hangover - quite the opposite.

Do you bleed NFL?

You will.

This ruling is the NFL League Office admitting they can't keep the Patriots down and have to punish them and hamstring them because they are too good. They should have crumbled away the last time they took a draft pick away according to them. The NFL has been waiting for this day because elements in the League Office do not think that punishment was enough.
This is over the NFL having to hand over the Lamar Hunt Trophy over to the Patriots at Gillette Stadium in January.
This is over the NFL having to hand over the Vince Lombardi trophy over to the Patriots after SB XLIX.
It stuck in Goodell's throat having to mount the podium to hand the Superbowl trophy to the "wrong" team.

What bothers me most is the stigma that is going to be attached to Brady and his legacy and I want to see Brady, his agent, his lawyers, the NFLPA, Kraft's lawyers to take the NFL to the cleaners. How important is the rest of your career if the NFL want to taint what you have already achieved?

Exactly.

If we are going off of assumptions then the NFL should suspend Aaron Rodgers for a few games.

I want to watch foot ball but I want nothing to do with the NFL. Kraft is worth over $4 billion. Start a new league and let the "pro-wrestling fan" crowd have the NFL.

Hopefully the concussion lawsuits will kill the NFL.

The ruling has been more of a get out of jail card for Goodell than anyone wanting to hurt the pats except the colts of course.
If Kraft did what Goodell did today which is do the right thing after the ray rice fiasco and got Goodell removed he wouldnt have faced this. Instead he went the greedy way of the Commish making him money who sweetly handed of this judgement via vincent.
