The Axe has fallen. Brady has been suspended for four games

What Kraft really doesn't get is that this affects US, fans of the team. He really seems blind to this.

I don't even know what to believe on Spygate, for crissakes. I finally saw a glimmer of a response from BB in the presser after this.

Kraft's inability to grow a spine (against $$$$$) means that I can't enjoy the greatest run in sports history. Yes, IT MATTERS, Robert. How about doing something about it?
You know b krafts been in the position of being an nfl owner that hob knobs with the stars. He probably lost touch with the fans awhile ago.

Because his WEASELING is the reason we can't fight back against the rest of the football world, that's why.

He doesn't defend them, he doesn't defend us, or our ability to enjoy this moment in sports history, that's why!

I'm not being a wise guy, I really don't understand what dots you connected to wind up so mad at Kraft. I must be missing something. Anyway, the whole thing is sad.

That's the hardest part. Even if Brady is successful in his appeal, the 1st rounder will remain and will tarnish Belichick's and Brady's legacies forever.

I'm one to believe that even if Kraft saved the franchise from moving to St-Louis, now is the time to start booing him every time he shows up. He always says that he's doing everything for the fans, well, if he's not able to fight this for the fans, then his words were just empty of any meanings.

I, for one, will enjoy watching football a lot less, with the constant reminder that the Pats cheated their way to 4 Super Bowls.
GFY

I suppose there's a few people I should address.

To Tom Brady and Bill Belichick:

You wondrous saviors of this franchise, the way that the rabid, headline obsessed, trashy and moralistic media have dragged your reputations through into the mud is disgusting. What we're seeing now, and what we saw in 2007, were not witch hunts. No they were crucifixions on behalf of a throng of jealous, embittered mediots, fans, and ex-players. Fans of 31 other teams might be willing to besmirch what you two have accomplished, but I and my fellow Pats fans recognize that you two are the greatest things to ever happen to the New England Patriots. Tom, you're the GOAT and no amount of suspensions or fines is going to convince me otherwise. You solidified your place as the greatest back in February. Bill, you're going to do an excellent job holding down the ship in Tom's absence. The NFL doesn't deserve men like you. And when all is said and done, I hope you too make the clear as you exit the withered, dying body of this sport.

To Jimmy G:

This might be the biggest test of your life yet. There's gonna be a lot of scrutiny, but just remember one thing: Don't give those ****ers with the microphone an inch. It's not going to be easy, and the shoes you're filling are enormous ones, but I have faith you can lead this team in Tom's stead. Good luck, and give em hell, Aladdin.

To the other 51 players on this roster:

We're on to Pittsburgh. For Tom and for Coach Belichick, let's make this season one to remember.

To Robert Kraft:

Not once, but twice you've left this organization out to dry in an attempt to appease a commissioner that has proven time and time again, to be an incompetent, arrogant, and callous individual. Mr Kraft, whatever you might think you owe Roger Goodell, it pales in comparison to what you owe Tom and Bill. I hope you've realized this by now, and I hope you start standing up for the guys that really have done you favors.

To Roger Goodell:

Mr. Goodell, I hold you accountable of the crime of desecrating the sport that you claim to care about. Since you stepped in as commissioner, you've done nothing but bungle your way through whatever issue comes your way. You aren't an judge of conduct, you're a prostitute that appeases whatever voice screams at you the loudest. How you ever rose to the position of ''Commissioner'' of this sport is utterly baffling, but know this: You may think you're safe because you scored brownie points with the mob by suspending a man who's done more for this sport in 15 years than you have in your entire lifetime, but I can assure you that it won't be the last time they'll call for your head. Pretty soon, the corruption in the NFL will be exposed again, and you'll be caught in the crossfire again, making weak excuses for yourself that nobody will believe. You'll screw it up, I know you will because a screwup has been what you have constantly proven to be. One day, you're going to be exposed however... They'll realize your purported care for the "integrity of the game" is nothing but a sham you use to rake in the money and protect the image of the squalor that is the NFL. And when **** finally hits the fan, I hope to be there, in the throes of elation over your downfall, a downfall that has long been overdue. Go **** yourself Roger Goodell, you're a blight on this culture.

To my fellow posters on Patsfans.

Buckle up, we are in for a hell of a ride. But regardless of whether or not we hoist a 5th Lombardi next year, I can state that I'm privileged to be a part of this community.

Very rarely are you this gobsmacked by events you can see coming from a country mile away.

I really hope, but am not confident, that Kraft lets them have it with both barrels. How you can sit on your thumbs while your team's (and GOAT QB's) reputation gets tactically nuked is beyond my comprehension.
I don't think you could say it better "Tactically nuked". He has a MASSIVE decision to make.

The team punishment has been laid out. There's nothing more Goodell can do on that front. It's now up to Kraft to hang Goodell out to dry, first with a public statement, and then by getting him removed from his position as Commissioner. Kraft's got another opportunity, and plenty of reason, to do what he should have done long ago.

Oh stop with the childish hyperbole. The worst owner in the league? Are you ****ing kidding me? Howza bout you go root for the Jets for awhile and see what a real 'worst' owner is. Or be old enough to remember Victor Kiam or the Sullivans.
Worst isn't right . Gutless or impotent are more accurate.Woody Johnson has a lot more clout with the people that count than Kraft. I hate to think what the penalty would have been if Kraft didn't have his influence LOL

I just got off the phone with him, he's fine. The two of us are considering options for organized fan activism.

As a start, how about getting the Patriots to change their run-out music to the Imperial March from Star Wars?

theyre killing brady on espn

i love how polian says he has no dog in the fight. **** you.

Write Kraft a letter telling him you'll no longer be getting tickets, etc...
