My gut reaction is I am done. What I posted on FB is that I am done and want the entire NFL front office to DIAF.

My current state of mind is going down to NY to their headquarters and beating the living hell out of Jetdell! Complete BS! They took away our 1st and 4th rounder? They are purposely trying to destroy us!! SEASON TICKET HOLDERS...BOYCOTT OPENING GAME! DO NOT GO IF KRAFT WILL NOT FIGHT THIS!

If I wanted to watch outrageous BS and complete and utter fiction I'd watch wrestling.

FU Goodell and FU Kraft for taking this lying down.

I want to support Belichick and Brady but I'm done with the NFL and Kraft. How do I do that?

I am effin livid!

Knee jerk reaction - I'm only supporting Belichick and Brady now. Kraft won't get a cent from me if he doesn't fight it.
Agreed. I will watch the Pats, but nobody else, and if we hadn't already paid for our season tickets this year, not sure we would. Will not renew if Kraft doesn't fight this BS. I also think every single Pats fan should not watch the Indy game so it gets a zero rating in the Boston area. I want to support TB and BB, but I am so tired of how rigged this is.

Somewhere recently I read that this is the twilight of the NFL's popularity and that head injuries will kill the sport (no pun intended). For me, it's the morph into the WWWE that's doing the job. I hope someone alerts Kraft that his fanbase is about to abandon ship.

I am done with the NFL for good. I am canceling the NFL network the minute I get home. I will NEVER give the NFL another dime of my money. This careless over reaction to an obvious sting by the NFL is a disgrace. Unfortunately for the Pats and Tom Brady, they were hung without being able to discuss this joke of a report by a biased entity.

I will never watch another NFL game. Thank goodness the Pats won that Super Bowl, because at least I can enjoy THAT memory as the last memory I ever have of NFL football.

Let the moron haters stew in their victory lap (the punishment), I'm done. Deleting my Twitter account because I don't want to read any more about this. All I can say to the NFL the non Pat's fans is go **** yourselves and I hope you suffer horrible misfortunes.

I've been a football fan since I was a little kid in the late 60's and early 70's, and I'm very depressed that a 40+ year love affair that I had with the NFL is now over. Fair warning to anyone out there that gloats to my face (in person), you will be sipping your meals through a straw for several months.

Honestly, I don't even care if this punishment gets appealed, though I feel Brady and the Pats will take it like the little *****es they are. I damn them to hell forever if/when they do. I don't care what happens anyway, it's over.

For the people here, thanks for the 10+ years of enjoyable conversation, this is the best message board on the Internet, and everybody here deserves much better than the over zealous punishment the NFL handed out today based on no proof. Best of luck to everyone here. I won't be around anymore except to congratulate you if the Pats win again next year.

I moved to Arizona a few years back, and the main thing that keeps me attached to New England Patriots is Brady and Belichick. I will always be the teams fan, but being so far away, and not having many Pats fans here, I could see one day not caring as much about football when they retire.

Now with this farce, I am done. I am definitely not watching any other teams. I will support Brady and Belichick till then end, but I am secretly hoping that Brady appeals, (or sues) the NFL, gets all suspensions lifted and then retires. If Kraft does not stick up for Brady, then I hope Belichick does the same.

I know that 31/32 teams would be extremely happy if that happened, but since I am giving up football, I do not care anymore.

Beyond F*ing belief, that's all I have to say. That bastard, that ****ing bastard.

I bloody well hope so.

If I had a ***** and a ***** and were in the same room as Goodell and Vincent I'd be in the same location as Hernandez.

Sports is a means to the end to the NFL as a show/entertainment business, and so do Brady.

I no longer find this entertaining. I will watch the drama unfold, but unless the punishment is reversed and Brady plays free and clear, the Pats get their picks back, and the fine is reduced to $25k, there is nothing more for me here.

If I want to be pissed off all day, every day I can watch the news. I stopped doing that too - which even surprised me.

I'll go read a good book. After the last episode of Justified, I bought The Friends of Eddie Coyle. I'll be able to do a lot of reading if I turn off football. Might even make me smarter in the end. I don't need to follow a bunch of alleged adults acting like junior high school girls and calling themselves the NFL.

My inclination is to be done, unless that Pats can get this BS reversed.

There's a high bar required anyway for remaining a fan, because of the head injuries. The league has to do something pretty clever -- and I don't know what it is -- to keep the sport going without an unacceptable level of further damage to its players. And if they're F'ed up enough to come out with this decision, I can't seem them solving the much bigger problem at all.

I'm done for awhile once BB & Brady leave. It's getting too unwatchable. Too many rules.

Living in Australia now I am watching National Rugby League and the pace is so quick. There are few penalties. There isn't a massive delay when they check to see if a guy scored a try.

And get this - they have cameras on the goal lines.

Season ticket holder since 71. Done.

Admire your loyalty - sitting in those those crappy steel benches of Schaefer Stadium. Wow.........

Let this unfold, there is a lot more to this story that hasn't been played out. People are PO'd and rightfully so. Also this could be the beginning of the implosion that Cuban envisioned. Nonetheless, the NE Patriots are the most competitive franchise in all of sports. They have been planning for this and they will do something about this

I'm waiting for the day that Goodell gets FIRED!! It can't come too soon! This was completely ridiculous and out of proportion!

Sorry guys, but I am so F' ing pissed. I am officially done with this BS NFL. It is over for me. It's enuff for me. you guys are the best. I will always love the Pats and always love TB, the best QB ever. But I just can't watch and support this "penalize who we want, the way we want" league anymore. I'm done. See ya

I'm not missing the rest of Brady's Patriots career over this. As I said in another thread, once Brady's gone, I'm done unless Goodell's been canned.

And this could all have been avoided if the owners hadn't let Goodell act as if he is God's own avenging angel.

If it weren't for the massive time difference, I'd have recommended the European league (Super League) it's not quite to the level of the NRL but it's still a damn good spectacle. I think one of the networks show at least 1 game a week on tape delay though.
