That's nothing. The Pats alone are worth 1000 times that.
Just for example, if your net worth is $500,000 (house, cars, etc) than it's the equivalent of a $500 fine.

What Kraft really doesn't get is that this affects US, fans of the team. He really seems blind to this.

I don't even know what to believe on Spygate, for crissakes. I finally saw a glimmer of a response from BB in the presser after this.

Kraft's inability to grow a spine (against $$$$$) means that I can't enjoy the greatest run in sports history. Yes, IT MATTERS, Robert. How about doing something about it?

Look at the plus side, he'll be fresh for the post season run, jokes aside, I hope Brady and Kraft ran down hell for this. Kraft has bent over backwards to accomodate Godell and it's gotten him nowhere but screwed over. Time to do something Robert!

I love the Patriots and watching football, but the NFL is really testing my my ability to support the league. How they can suspend Brady for 4 games based on flawed logic and evidence and also take another first round pick away when the report went out of the way to exonerate the owner and coach/gm is beyond comprehension. How come the Patriots are the only team to have first round picks taken away? Using Spygate in 2007 as a reason to dock the first round pick is a failed argument, as they took a first round pick away in 2007 WITH NO PRIOR RECORD.

Aside from Tom Brady, I hope Bob Kraft has the decency to find jobs for the two ballboys
at one of his other operations.

The NFL is a corrupt,media driven,infantile,inconsistent,pathetic,despicable autocracy.

The severity of the punishment to the organization makes me think this is the NFL attempting to get back at Kraft for demanding an apology if nothing was found AND because it's anticipating Brady / Yee going to war over his suspension. The NFL probably gave them over the weekend to agree to a couple games suspension for Brady with Brady not contesting, Brady refused, Kraft defended him, so the NFL punished him and the organization.

I agree Kraft has played this very poorly, but behind the scenes I have to imagine he's defended Brady to the league.

Wow. Just wow. Can't believe this is happening. I guess we need to be happy that they won the Super Bowl. If they lost we still would have been screwed.

I really am done with the league. I have spent so many hours watching football and so much of my hard earned cash on tickets, travel ,tailgates etc. Time to move on. There are so many other things to do with my Sundays.

Do I get a discount from Kraft for the games that Brady is out for?

Can I get a refund on the entire 2015-16 season?

Because his WEASELING is the reason we can't fight back against the rest of the football world, that's why.

He doesn't defend them, he doesn't defend us, or our ability to enjoy this moment in sports history, that's why!

Well i'm talking going to a higher level than arbitration. I don't thin TB is the kind of person that would allow his name and reputation to be dragged through the mud like it is.

My blood is literally boiling right now, I won't be able to think clearly for at least 6 hours, maybe a day...

The NFL reacts to the mob, this should have been clear to the Patriots. They sat there for 4 months while Goodell stirred the mob into a frenzy. Now the mob wants blood and Goodell has given the thumbs down. And the crowd is pleased.

If the Patriots deserve any punishment its for failing to realize this, thinking the public's opinion was irrelevant, thinking the truth mattered, and providing no defense.

Public perception is something they will never change now, and for that it's hard to forgive Kraft. He's either stupid or complicit.

I hope brady fights this and doesnt release some statement and take it lying down. Although the language is so vague I dont know if he will win. NFL will keep insisting their version of non cooperation to win the arbitration
