Hope every NE fan drops NFL network even if it means you lose other channels you like

Goodell: We relied on the critical importance of protecting the integrity of the game &the thoroughness and independence of the Wells report

OH YA YOU F*CK?

You had an owner tamper in a press conference and fined him $100k. You had the Chargers using sticky towels $20k fine, you got you poster boy QB Aaron Rodgers laughing about overinflating balls and trying to get them past refs, ya you are really all for protecting the integrity.

As for the "thoroughness" of that garbage report, Laurence Maroney would run for 2000 yards with the huge holes in it.

Independence? That's a f*cking laugher.

F*CKING SHAM

Troy Vincent's letter is f***ing disgusting.

I am without proper words here (that won't get filtered).

They took a F***ING FIRST ROUND PICK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

For WHAT?

I will NOT BUY TICKETS TO PAT'S GAMES ANYMORE. I WILL NOT BUY NFL MERCHANDISE.

If I wanted the WWE, I'd watch the WWE, or whatever the hell it is. Goodell is a travesty.

Nailed it.
Aren't there a pretty substantial amount of Patriots fans out there (I'm guessing more than there are Jaguar fans)? If they're like me they're super pissed off at the league right now. I imagine that there are going to be real financial repercussions for the league for this stupidity.

aggressiveness of penalty jiveS with notion "world" was watching and NFL had to come down hard. Course, NFL could have kept it low key early

The damage is done to the reputation of an icon and the team. Doesnt matter what happens, pats fans have to always hear about this just like spygate.

Bob will roll over and play dead. I sincerely hope Brady goes Mid Evil and not only appeals the suspension he sues goodell and the league for defamation of charector.

This is going to get interesting. I think Belichick let them **** him on spygate but there is no way he does it again in my opinion. **** me once shame on you **** me twice shame on me.

Hopefully, he'll get it reduced to maybe a game or two, but the 1st round pick is a steep penalty as well.

"As well"? LOL... oh also there's a fourth the following year.

Bill Belichick is bad for not being involved this time... whaaaa?

I was ready for them to go after Brady (and I was ready for Brady to fight it if he felt like it.)

But the team? Really? Brady is "more probably than not" "generally aware"...? Really? You don't even know that he is involved.... you have exculpated Belichick and the only other player mentioned, Gostkowski completely - even in your crooked report - and you're going after the team?

Now I'm listening to the clowns on TV saying "I think it was about right, if not not enough"

FU NFL

Where's his Scarborough house? We should spam his box with tons of glitter hate mail.

My dad was silent for a moment and then said "That's just crazy."

Then he said what we are are all wondering…"What on earth is going to happen next?"

This sends a very clear signal about goodells priorities and decision making.

Unbelievable.
Very ashamed of the nfl today.

Here's the NFL press release:

Troy Vincent said:
Here, there are several factors that merit strong consideration in assessing discipline. The first is the club’s prior record. In 2007 the club and several individuals were sanctioned for videotaping signals of opposing defensive coaches in violation of the Constitution and Bylaws. Under the Integrity of the Game Policy, this prior violation of competitive rules was properly considered in determining the discipline in this case.

The damage is done. The pats of the 2000s will forever be known as the team which 2 1st round picks taken away by the league for cheating. Iam surprised Goodell didnt announce a suspension for BB.
That's the hardest part. Even if Brady is successful in his appeal, the 1st rounder will remain and will tarnish Belichick's and Brady's legacies forever.

I'm one to believe that even if Kraft saved the franchise from moving to St-Louis, now is the time to start booing him every time he shows up. He always says that he's doing everything for the fans, well, if he's not able to fight this for the fans, then his words were just empty of any meanings.

I, for one, will enjoy watching football a lot less, with the constant reminder that the Pats cheated their way to 4 Super Bowls.

I think I might be done with the NFL.

Troy Vincent's letter to Tom Brady

More like Roger Goodell. Troy Vincent is a puppet, just like the arbitrator will be a puppet for Goodell so he can claim he had no involvement in the decision.
