The only thing I can figure here, is that they overdid it as most of it will be overturned on appeal..

Goodell is a f... ing joke, what about the leaks from his office and the ineptitude of Walt Andrews..

A large part of me wants to see Belichick resign and then give an epic press conference calling Goodell out for the POS he is.

That's a switch, since they previously said before that they couldn't take away the pick the Pats used on Mayo (when many people were calling for that to happen).

But, in any case, if they lose a higher pick, that means they get their own back (which is not a bad thing).

I wish Goodell would apply the same standards for the League office. The league office has destroyed any integrity in this game long ago.

Why didn't Goodell just give the Pats the death penalty like SMU??? This punishment is absurd.

Kraft needs to make the removal of Goodell his top priority !

TJ thinks the NFLPA don't stick up for the players as they should. I think I understand his point.

Kraft had the chance to get rid of Goodell after his full calendar year of screw ups. Kraft decided that it was great having a true believing crusader sticking it to the players.

Well, Bobby boy, when there's a weapon, sometimes it gets turned towards you. I have no sympathy for you. Pull your head out of your ass now, and keep it out moving forward.

Brady and the underlyings, on the other hand, didn't deserve to get this level of punishment.

I said it a while ago: this was Goodell's Get Out of Jail Free Card. Everyone else loves him now.
