always thought arrington was a solid slot CB just overpaid.

Surprising. If he had played even marginally well in the Superbowl Malcolm Butler probably isn't in the game to make the play, although I guess if he played marginally well we wouldn't have been in that spot in the first place.

Wow, really bad move if he isn't back on a cheaper contract. He's one of the few reliable guys (in the slot).

Chika whaaaa? Look I'm not the biggest Arrington fan but he has had notable success in the slot. I am very very curious what the master plan is at CB. I don't see one as of now. Let's hope that front seven really gets some pressure on the QBs.

Patriots remaining CBs: Malcolm Butler, Bradley Fletcher, Logan Ryan, Robert McClain, Chimdi Chekwa, Daz Swanson, Justin Green, and rookies.

I knew almost any CB on the roster could realistically be a starter week 1 or could be cut. I just really didn't expect Arrington to be in that latter group.

This one is truly surprising. Not only was Arrington a decent slot corner, but a key special teamer as well. With BB's loving of two-way players, I wonder why Arrington was let go.
